Hello, good people. She is a refugee girl. @humanaidint has been supporting her education. Currently, she is pursuing BA Hons & a computer course in graphic design. She needs a laptop to practice at home. Can we find a donor for her? She will be the first graduate from the camp.

Recently, 40 families from this camp returned to Pakistan as they thought facing persecution back home was less tormenting than living in inhuman conditions in this camp. @humanaidint alone cannot solve every problem. They need better support.

The @humanaidint team contacted the Nepal Embassy in Delhi. We were told that the in-kind support is not required as of now. However, they would appreciate any monetary contribution. Sharing the QR Code for those who want to make a contribution.
#HAI's @LOCAL_India_23 platform member, Volunteer Corps Nepal, has already dispatched tents, solar lights, sleeping bags and water filters to the affected areas. Helping Hand, a volunteers' group supported by #HAI, is preparing to deploy 20 search & rescue volunteers.

Flags high, voices strong. Our children at the Signature Bridge Education Centre celebrated Independence Day with a flag hoisting, national anthem, and cultural programme today.
Thank you to our sponsors & donors for making this possible. 🧡🤍💚

Freedom is a farmer rebuilding his field before help arrives, a community that doesn't wait to be saved, a student taking his education into his own hands.
This #IndependenceDay, HAI celebrates every resilient citizen who keeps India standing.

1. #Assam has historically been #flood-prone, but this year's flood, particularly in Sivasagar district, has been a lot more devastating than anticipated. Floods leave a trail of destruction once the water recedes. Presenting a few findings based on @humanaidint's observations.

Why #Saarathi?
Sri Krishna didn't fight the war for Arjuna. He merely helped him navigate through the problem by giving startegic advise. Likewise, @humanaidint doesn't consider people passive recipients of aid. It rather helps them to overcome their problems.
7. Of course, we can't do it alone. We will need the accompaniment of all of you to work through a long-term strategy. I invite you to make a contribution to our #Saarathi fund for a proper response:

A few more photos to demonstrate the work being done. @humanaidint is extremely grateful to its donors. @saket71 @nishthaanushree
We are immensely thankful to our individual donors for their contributions towards the construction of temporary toilets for the people displaced by #floods. The need for sanitation, if overlooked, causes massive secondary disasters. #AssamFloods
