When the fabric of a building is co created by the community and the architects, you know it’s a real sign of success, even before anyone has crossed the threshold. Congratulations @growingsudley @hsahello on the opening of your Changing Rooms. Such beautiful therapeutic spaces! Thank you for the tour Lucy 💚 Beautiful ceramic tiles @thisisnaylor ❤️ #spring

Speaking on the Football Governance Bill this week I told Parliament that at the bottom of the pyramid there is a shocking lack of investment in the grassroots game and this is something that @Kenny9Saunders does so much to highlight via his @savegrassroots

There are examples internationally of imaginative alternative uses for these 300ft vacant vessels - from amusement parks to extreme sports centres, art installations to festival sites.
In the age of sustainability, Britain’s historic cooling towers also deserve a second chapter.

So sad and wasteful. There are currently plans to demolish every single cooling tower in the country. This is a mad annihilation of landscape-scale heritage features. Join @C20Society to try and stop this kind of shortsighted destructiveness.
5–4-3-2-1 and down came 4 of the 8 cooling towers of #FiddlersFerry power station nr #Warrington. Pressing the button for @PP_OConnor was local resident @gracetay10 who won the chance in a charity raffle in aid of @WDPcomms which raised around £15K
