Fair Share Football is proud to welcome @garstangfc as a supporter of our campaign, for a fair share of football money to be cascaded back down the football pyramid to where it all begins: Non-league and grassroots football. Garstang describes itself as “The town team in the heart of the community”, and they certainly are. They have a history going back to 1885 and play at the Riverside Stadium in Garstang Lancashire, in the North West Counties League, First Division North. They field men’s first and reserve teams, 15 junior teams (boys and girls), and four senior walking sides.
If you’re a non-league club and want to show your support for our campaign, tell us about yourself and we will feature you on our site and socials. #fairsharefootball

FA's statement re the football regulators report
Mark Bullingham "emphasized that grassroots players/referees/coaches and free volunteers are the foundations of the English game and stressed that the regulator should support the long-term heath of the entire sport"
In 1999, in exchange for government backing over the right of the Premier League to sell its broadcast rights collectively, the League promised to distribute 5% of its TV income to the grassroots game from 2001 season onwards however, this pledge continues to remain unfulfilled.
