Too many people just compare cost, I can get do much more fir less on XYZ. No one factors in this cost, well done @Railway . This should be at top of your comparison charts
I'm 100% sure staying on @Railway is safer than hand-rolling your own Hetzner server for your SaaS — even after their breach. I'd been thinking about moving Kleio to Hetzner for a long time. Then a guy at my co-working space told me he dropped the exact same plan for security reasons. He was simply too afraid in the age of AI. I think he's right. And even if he isn't, your time (and worry!) is better spent elsewhere than managing a VPS.

Excellent report. People might be upset, but very few companies have the guts to make tough decisions like these to protect everyone.

First time I hear about PHP , but I am an expert 🤣
BBC: Hablaremos con nuestro experto en seguridad de BBC respecto a la vulnerabilidad de PHP. El experto en seguridad: No sabía que PHP existía hasta ayer en la mañana.

Sorry the tender is out 🤣
Interesting because we patched our PHP systems and we're fine today. There are no precautionary measures, chances are you got hacked.

Maybe wait until election is over before you make plans
Interesting how things change: 🇮🇩 Canggu, Bali at the bottom now and 🇿🇦 Cape Town is at the top!

🚨 BREAKING: Nick Shirley just dropped this line in the Oval Office flanked by President Trump, and it's PURE GOLD "I want people to think about what is happening right now...me as a 24-year-old, I went out and exposed the fraud. I just was concerned about the well-being of our tax dollars. And right now, I'm standing next to the President of the United States." 🔥 "There's never been an incentive for anyone to ever expose fraud [until now]...when you expose fraud, you help save America. People understand that these fraudsters take from the poor needy who actually need the services that we all work hard to pay for, and we take that, and they then buy Mercedes!" @nickshirleyy WELL-DESERVED FOR NICK. A year ago, legacy media mocked him as a right-wing propagandist Today he walked into the Oval Office with the first check for exposing fraud that the media IGNORED!! Camera, microphone and passion for saving America. Let's freaking go.

Geez, @DendiBoss himself liked my tweet 😂 Never thought I’d get a like from the @DOTA2 legend. @OpenAI might have won the 1v1, but it’ll never give us hooks like this. 🪝 youtu.be/J5I-5eo_vDM?si=sIV9…

A visualization on how @AnthropicAI's new Scion source control works Made with @claudeai Opus 5.5
New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control. In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale. Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: anthropic.com/engineering/re…

Cool ship! It's faster than my port (ts-rust aka tsc-rs) in most things. I heard that they wanted to ship earlier but delayed because my --fast mode beat them 🤣 That said, it looks like tsrs is the real winner
New from Vercel Labs: tsc-ts TypeScript was written in TypeScript Then rewritten in Go We ported it back to TypeScript Compiled it with scriptc And it's 2-4x faster than tsgo

The George community will take to the streets tomorrow as the men accused and charged with the murder and stabbing of 21 year Reinbrecht Piper were released on R1000 bail each. R1000 Justin Jafta (28) and Craig Nelson (27) were each granted bail of R1 000 by the George Magistrate’s Court on October 1 The prosecution had not viewed CCTV footage of the incident when the bail applications were heard. The prosecution and investigating officer viewed the footage on October 5. Piper’s family has since lodged a formal complaint with prosecuting authorities about aspects of the bail proceedings and investigation. I'll reserve my comments.
