This is FAKE News. No such admission has ever been made by UP CEO. It is a dangerous twist to a report and some X posts of @reporters_co and their reporters and editor. The reports and posts of @reporters_co are full of inconsistencies, assumptions, false imputations and designed to create a particular perception. But this post goes much beyond their fault. As per your post, the voter had submitted only two applications and he got 4 EPIC cards.
This statement is false.
The voter had submitted 4 applications.
If you want to dispute our facts then you post the reference numbers of two applications that you claim he had submitted and we will post the reference number of the remaining two.
The problem of generation of multiple EPICs on submission of multiple forms of an individual is a long standing one. We do deduplication through ECINET periodically. We are on path to achieving the objective of catching multiple forms submitted by an individual at the submission stage only. We will achieve our objective very soon.
Please do not incite people by making patently false statements about ECI and thereby trying to create disaffection among the citizens towards a Constitutional Body.
You are advised to rectify your mistake by amending or deleting your post after completing your own due diligence now that you have been informed by us about your wrong information.

I won't comment on Trump, but what you are sharing on India is fake news. India is doing a constitutionally required clean up of voter rolls since 2003. In 23 years, more than 110 million Indians have died, millions more left the country, or changed their locations. All these have been corrected and a draft made, not even finalized as Indians can still get their names included or rolls corrected if there's any discrepancy.
The new draft list can still be challenged in the courts. But it is being made into a fake news of "India deleted 130 million voters. And it is being spread around by some foreign influenced media in the world. Don't post on such unnecessary, complex issues in foreign countries without understanding, to make it look like you or democrats are working for China, Russia, Pakistan and other foreign interests.
