A promise is a promise. 💜 Here’s a little BTS of how our very first Doran’s token came to life. 500+ layers and an especially questionable amount of sleep trying to get these ready for #RQLA 🙏🏻 This token started from a completely blank canvas and was built up by hand, layer by layer, by a human. AI was used only towards the end of the process to help enhance and polish some of the final details. The artwork itself was not AI-generated. You can see the video for the very unpolished, very messy, very real process behind it. 😂 We also want to acknowledge the conversation around AI and creative work. We understand why people feel strongly about it, especially with how quickly the creative landscape is changing and the impact it has had on artists and their livelihoods. That was never what we wanted this token to represent. At the end of the day, we’re just a card shop run by a bunch of people who really love this game. We made these tokens because we wanted our friends and the Riftbound community to have a little piece of Doran’s to carry with them, a thank-you for all the love this community has given us. And just to make this clear: we will never monetize this token. It was made as a gift, and that’s what it will remain. 💜 To everyone who showed the tokens love, shared them, collected one, or simply said something nice, THANK YOU🔥 And to everyone who gave us criticism and feedback… Thank you too. We listen and we don’t judge.🫡 After all, we’re still a young TCG store figuring things out as we go. For most of us, it is also our first time owning a business. Now hopefully we can put the token discourse to bed and get back to the important stuff… Set 5: Radiance😮‍💨 May the Gold Token bless your opening hand, may you dodge your worst matchup, AND may your opponent NEVER have exactly what they need. See you guys around. 💜 Doran’s Cards For Gamers, By Gamers. ;)

Pure fiction. That being said, never stop touching your deck. Be one with the cards.

It covers more than just Lillia gameplay. It's an all-encompassing guide to teach you to play Riftbound better! Solid work @lalasonghs @jordenjordenn!
🦌Lillia Guide - Post Stacked Deck Ban edition🦌 The first two sections are free: the first to convince you to play Lillia, and the second to give you a preview of what the playstyle will be like. I am not going to any major events until next year (adult reasons), and co-author @jordenjordenn decided to go for Kha'Zix (so we can write another), and there is no gatekeeping in this guide. Priced at "buy us a pack" and I hope you enjoy! Do leave feedback in the form. Thank you! 🙏🙏 Metafy Link in below

Hey friends - ban list update! Ekko and Stacked Deck are banned. Reasoning in the article, but wanted to add a bit of context on the short time between now and effective date: we're launching Origins in KR this weekend, and want to make sure they don't have weird discontinuities.

We started with less than 200 people before the game even released on our shores. Now, that same 🇸🇬 Telegram group has grown to 4.2K+ members, we have MULTIPLE 32-pax NNs every night, and #RQSingapore just wrapped up. I love this #Riftbound and can’t wait to see the community grow even more ❤️ – at North-East Region, Singapore

Home from RQ Singapore after 33 Hours of Travel Wanted to take a moment to reflect on the weekend. It had been 6 months since my last show (RQ Las Vegas). I was never kept in the dark about why it was so long, but as someone who has dedicated so much of my life to casting it was hard to sit back and watch wanting so badly to be a part of each show. When Riftbound was released I had a goal. I wanted to become a voice of the game, a historian of the competitive circuit by being a primary source for each event happening. Being able to say 'I was there' as each moment was written into history, and sometimes even be the pen who writes it. Each of my efforts within Riftbound have been working towards this goal but somewhere along the way with so much going on and so much time between shows I started to become unsure about the direction I wanted to go with content, with casting, with competing. Getting back on the mic solidified my original goal. Reminded me why I love what I do, and renewed my hunger to be even better. I hope you enjoyed the cast, and I hope to come back as frequently as possible. The privilege of sharing these stories with you all is what I feel I was put here to do. Thanks to @RiftboundRamble for bringing me across the globe for this one, @LHP64D and @CasterCarix for being a fantastic duo opposite me and Courtney and accepting me as an honorary Australian for the weekend, and the crew for making everything so easy all event. And a special shoutout to @ADCourtneyy , casting is not easy as much as people like to pretend it is. Courtney came into her first event with a ton of respect for the craft and an attitude to learn. She put an insane amount of work to prepare herself and even when she stumbled she took feedback in stride and together we'd work the problem. Taking the leap from pre-recorded to live content is different and scary but Courtney was able to let her personality shine through and she did a great job. I have no doubts with her work ethic, humor, and love of the game that she could become an incredible caster if she so desires! So much more to write about since I love Singapore and all the people and players that I meet and how @GoricaLoL is so cool and his story is one of the best I've ever heard in any competition ever but I'm already rambling. So ggs, much love, cya in LA.

It's my first time competing in a tournament, and the most unlikely thing is that it's a TCG—which I've always deemed myself really bad at. My brain just isn't wired to do such big-brained stuff and I've always snuffed myself out as a bad player turned caster who can only do hype

My fellow scammers (friends) that constantly helped me improve, practiced with me, and giving good vibes all the way, y'all were imperative to my improvement to help me deliver this results and I am so thankful I could never repay them.

Until the next tournament, I'll be taking a short break and come back with more content and try to work towards a talent again! I've got a better sights and more confidence in diving into Riftbound casting, and I hope I'll be the voice behind RQs in the coming future. 📸 Probosu

Although it's unfortunate that SG RQ had no SEA rep on the desk, I'll like to commend the desk for their hardwork and effort throughout the weekend, making the broadcast entertaining and gratifying to watch! @ADCourtneyy @CasterCarix @CasanovaCasts @LHP64D
I hope I have enough algo to voice this now I wish there were more opportunities provided to local talents, as there is ZERO South East Asian rep in the RQ SG talent lineup, which happens to be the only RQ event in the region. SEA region faced unique disadvantages from the start. We only received the official launch of the game in mid-May (a week after Unleashed), experienced severe supply shortages till end of July, and did not receive regional protection mechanisms like TW/HK/MO did. While I truly appreciate and love the invited international talent lineup, it is disheartening to see highly experienced, world-class local talents such as @QuahSong @heyabstract @hiroshishou_ @excelsorph denied the opportunity to perform on home ground. Despite getting a late start, these are the exact individuals who regularly host grassroots events, run learn-to-play sessions, and produce content purely out of their passion and dedication to Riftbound. It would mean a lot if Riftbound showed that same support back to the community leaders who built local scene from the ground up. @playriftbound @riftboundop @DimiccoDiana

I've only had the pleasure of meeting Carix, but I hope I'll have the opportunity to be present in the other RQ/RC and have the luxury to meet the rest as well! Y'all smashed the weekend, and should only have them positive vibes over to y'all!

Waking up and it kinda just hit me that @katsucurryXBT and I making top 8 out of 2000+ people at such a high OPL event is actually kinda insane. The support from our fellow Singaporeans was insane. Top 128 in Sydney, Top 64 in Barcelona, Top 8 in Singapore. Getting better each event. Gotta win LA now don't I? Mega thread about the Kennen deck and more thoughts coming later!
