House Democrats reelected @SpeakerDonScott, Leader @C_Herring, and Chair @KathyKLTran to continue leading our Caucus.
This leadership team has consistently delivered for Virginians — lowering costs, protecting freedoms, strengthening public schools, and ensuring every community has a voice at the table.
As we head into the 2026 legislative session, our focus remains the same: putting people first and delivering real results for working families.
So proud to vote for @KamalaHarris, @Tim_Walz, @timkaine, and @JennMcClellanVA!!
We waited over an hour to vote at city hall but the energy was palpable — everyone cheered for every new voter!!
Elon Musk and Donald Trump will cut Social Security and Medicare.
For the second day in a row, Trump on the trail is touting Elon Musk’s claim that he will be able to help cut $2 trillion from the federal budget.
That’s one-third the annual budget —
Good @CNBC story on the staggering consequences:

.@KathyKLTran was the first Vietnamese American person elected to the legislature, is now chair of the @VAHouseDems, AND has been doing actual work to protect Eden Center.
This some guy — who has never won an election — calls himself the community's "standard bearer"? Get real.

This is pure Byrd machine tactics — limit the electorate to a small voting base to consolidate your power.
They want to choose their electorate so it always chooses them.

Gov. Walz: Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election?
Vance: I’m focused on the future
Walz: That is a damning non-answer
You know when your dad calmly, kindly, and patiently has to explain to your smarmy shitass cousin over Thanksgiving dinner why basic human empathy is important? That's what tonight felt like.

maybe im just a partisan hack but i think sending a murderous horde to the us capital was a bigger threat to democracy than not being allowed to suggest horse paste to treat covid on facebook

Spent the late morning at NV Styles and Cuts with Senator @SenBagby and Delegate @thedrmikejones for a HCDC sponsored Barbershop talk. Good time encouraging individuals to get out and vote and discussing issues. 44 days to go!

Access to the James is one of the greatest parts of living in Richmond. Between the pipeline, lack of progress on sewer overflow, and Texas Beach being indefinitely closed, the city is really letting residents down.
Oh hey yall, Richmond is considering permanently closing the Pipeline Trail axios.com/local/richmond/202…

Alan Page was the 1971 NFL MVP as a defensive lineman, completed his law degree while he was still an active player, served over 20 years as an Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court, and he plays the goddamn sousaphone. How hard are you trying?
