If you see a moose covered in bees, the good news is: it probably doesn’t want to fight you. The bad news? Don’t touch the hive 🐝 Parasitic Bees build their colonies inside living creatures. Their hive material allows nerve impulses to keep passing through the host, while a strange kind of “honey” enters its bloodstream and works as both a painkiller and a narcotic. So the host keeps walking. The bees keep building. And if you threaten the colony, the whole thing suddenly becomes your problem. A new creature has joined our regular Monster of the Week series.
