Hellbent has been recognized by @JacksonWild for our green production strategy. We worked hard to keep our footprint low throughout production, ensuring every step of our journey was taken with the environment in mind. More about our film ➡ hellbentfilm.com/ #wildlifefilm

“It is not the most attractive animal,” the senator said, laughing. *OUCH* “They’re not necessarily the animal you would expect to see on a cereal box. But they’re really cool.” *GOOD SAVE* 😅 #hellbender #amphibians #salamander

We love to see other successful #rightsofnature cases - such as this one from #Ecuador, where the movement started. Community members in #cuador’s Intag Valley have won a court case to stop the Llurimagua copper #mining project news.mongabay.com/2023/03/ec…

Check out our new and improved website! We just set up a function that allows you to send a postcard directly to the stars of the film. Let them know you support their fight to protect nature! 👉ow.ly/gtLx50Nygoz #fracking #wildlifefilm
“I got involved because I went to a film festival and met a bunch of really wonderful #conservation-minded filmmakers. One of [them] happened to be a former #hellbender biologist,” said Roth. “That’s how we found out about Grant Township.” via @TheSJNews ow.ly/uW1J50NzuaI
Another #filmfestival for our team - this time @CIFF! Here's Matt and Alex at the screening event for our film, which included five other amazing shorts. We hope those in attendance enjoyed Hellbent! #CIFF47

Female #hellbenders lay up to 500 eggs at a time. After the eggs hatch, the young stay with the male, who is also known as the ‘denmaster’, before spending a year living on the riverbed, eating insect larvae. After this, they metamorphose into adult hellbenders. #wildlife
