Century for Nathan McSweeney 👏🏼 An innings spurred by a belly burning with desire to return to Test cricket, no doubt. A 27 year old, back-to-back Sheffield Shield winning captain, coming off 4x Country centuries this winter, averaging 44.3 in the UK. Fancy not trusting guys like him with the future of Australian cricket..

Too much grass, yes. This time. But this is not an outlier, Michael. You are giving a free pass to incompetence & extremely poor technique from both team's batsmen. Incapable of 'not scoring'. It's an indictment on what Test cricket should be. And you guys should call it out.

I had tears streaming down my face three seconds into this clip. A surreal commitment to the art, to be able to not imitate, but emulate, such a distinct voice with the rawness and sincerity that Jeremy Allen White does here. Chills.

This is what winning the shield title and Dean Jones trophy has meant for Adelaide!
Adelaide has been voted as the happiest city in Australia with all of the nation’s capital cities making the top 200 on a new global index. How is your city doing? #7NEWS

For mine this is one of the issues of hedging SPP’s action at 4 weeks. Webster action was at least twice as bad in my view. Does that mean it’s an 8 week penalty?

A strange dichotomy … Many said Warner was kept in the side during his poor run of form because he knew the truth about Cape Town and it was feared he would tell all if dropped Yet, apparently that doesn’t apply to Bancroft Seems odd 🤔

All they need to do is keep scoring runs. It’s a bit of a joke that averaging 50+ in SS for a season somehow means you’re ready for test cricket after already being a failure at that level.

Not banned though, just not selected. People, especially The media want to change history. He has played for Australia since he was BANNED and failed. Still managed to get READ on the back page 😄

Some serious crying about this Bancroft omission, as though he didn’t have another spell in the national team after the Cape Town incident

Green averages over fifty at Shield level and out performed all of the current contenders before making his test debut. Justin Langer wasn't an opener, nor was Mike Hussey, Simon Katich, Watson.. the list goes on. This is Steve Smith we're talking about, one of the best ever.

I don’t understand the debate around Australian selectors devaluing the Sheffield Shield? Debate specialist positions, sure. But Green averages significantly more (15 runs 54 vs 39) than Bancroft in Shield cricket. I don’t think it’s a conspiracy if Bancroft isn’t picked.

This Aussie side is easily our most likeable men’s Test side of my lifetime. And I suspect for many years before too. #AUSvPAK #PAKvsAUS – at Sydney, New South Wales

This is an excellent catch by Moises. But it’s not out because he put the ball on the ground to brace his fall. Regardless of how spectacular the effort, it’s not out. Simple as that. And the umpire should know that. That’s a really embarrassing oversight. #BBL13

Best advice he could be given (if his character is a concern) apologise unreservedly, accept fault & drop the challenge charade! People will move on quickly….

Honestly, other than Elon Musk (who definitely wasn't going to win) who else would you give the award to? Nobody did anything in 2023. This year was a throwaway.

I asked @patcummins30 after Australia has gone 0-2 at #CWC23 if he knew what it meant to play the “Australian way” & he said he had no idea yet. Turns out he’s been redefining the Australian way ever since he took over. It’s the Pat Cummins way #IndvAus cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/12…
