genuinely do not understand "just let them play" attitude wrt to umpiring. underofficiated games are hideous viewing. constant scragging, constantly locking the ball into unresolvable contests, marking interference neutering the big boys. it's like dry wet weather footy

Having slept on it I'm renouncing the death of Flyball. Umpires being cowards late doesn't mean they pay nothing just they increase the threshold. Impey (and his teammates for not piling in) gave zero avenue to not call it. Jai comes over and locks it in and it's prob not called

there are games of footy where over 120 mins one team shows themselves to be better than the other, and games where over 120 mins two good (or bad) teams throw punches at each other and one just happens to be in front of the end. This was the latter - god the Hawks were good too
