ہم سب کے لیے یہ بات سمجھنا نہایت ضروری ہے کہ عمران خان کوئی سیاسی قیدی نہیں ہیں، بلکہ انہیں دنیا کے سب سے پڑھے لکھے جرم (وائٹ کالر کرائم) میں سزا سنائی گئی ہے۔ انہوں نے نہ صرف برطانوی حکومت کی طرف سے حکومتِ پاکستان کو واپس کی گئی رقم میں خورد برد کی، بلکہ اس رقم کے لیے منی لانڈرنگ کا راستہ بھی اختیار کیا۔ کوئی بھی اسمبلی یا حکومت انہیں اس جرم سے بری نہیں کر سکتی؛ انہیں خود عدالت میں ججوں کے سامنے اپنا دفاع کرنا ہوگا اور اپنی بے گناہی ثابت کرنی ہوگی۔ اسی لیے، ان کی پارٹی کو چاہیے کہ وہ اپنے قائد کا احتساب کرے اور جوابدہی مانگے، نہ کہ حکومت سے ان کی رہائی کا مطالبہ کرے، کیونکہ جب وہ سیاسی قیدی ہیں ہی نہیں تو یہ معاملہ حکومت کے اختیار میں آتا ہی نہیں۔

The elected Chief Minister of a province being rendered a missing person brings me back to the first missing person of this country, our founding father, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He demoted a General, for merely having a political opinion, namely Ayub Khan, and posted him to the East Pakistan Rifles, barring him from any further promotion.
On 14 June 1948, the Quaid addressed the Quetta Staff College and said, and I quote, “Do not forget that the armed forces are the servants of the people.” He knew what they were up to and the harm they would do to his country.
It didn’t sit well with the armed forces. A month later, Quaid-e-Azam was abducted and taken to Ziarat against his will.
Ziarat has a 4,000-year-old history, yet in those 4,000 years, it received its first patient. There exists no sanatorium, no hospital, not even a dispensary, to this day. Even today, we cannot easily visit it. It is still kept primitive.
The Quaid was cut off from the world there, just as Imran Khan is today, and so is Sohail Afridi. He, too, was placed in “protective custody.” This nation never saw him again.
All of Pakistan’s problems will vanish the day we recover the first missing person, our Quaid, who was left to die, and the day the Generals accept their fate as servants of the people, bow their heads, and salute the civilian.

BREAKING: Saudi Arabia has informed European refiners that they will be allocated no crude oil next month amid the East-West pipeline shutdown, per Bloomberg.
European customers normally receive Saudi Arabian crude oil shipments on "term contracts," which are meant to ensure a steady flow of crude oil supply every month.
Countries in Europe imported 577,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Saudi Arabia prior to the shutdown.
Europe is facing its worst energy crisis in history.

گزارش ہے کہ ایسا نہیں ہو سکتا تھا۔ اگر سمری 15 دن بھی رکی رہتی تو وفاقی حکومت کا فیصلہ وزیراعظم کی ایڈوائس / سمری 24 نومبر کو لیا جا چکا تھا۔ اس وقت کی آئینی پوزیشن کے مطابق آرمی چیف کی تعیناتی کا فیصلہ وفاقی حکومت یعنی وزیراعظم کرتا ہے۔ صدر کا رول اس تمام معاملے میں نہایت محدود ہے۔
