We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

Ppl should not be dunking on the Charleston AI guy for a few reasons
(1) Don't belittle entrepreneurs on principle
(2) Capitalism works in part bc ppl try different things incl laughable things
(3) Normies still don't have any idea what AI can do; maybe the guy is onto something, your local systems integrator
(4) Guys like this are the US Mittelstand - this is exactly what your hometown MCD franchisee, Ford dealer, strip mall owner, independent insurance agent, etc. look and sound like
