There has been much noise around the fathers and godfathers of Artificial Intelligence, but how about its mothers?
Let's start with Ada Lovelace, often regarded as the first computer programmer, and wrote the first algorithm meant to be run on a computer.

🌟Update🌟there's been a lot of debate of whether Theory of Mind (ToM) has emerged in new models (ChatGPT/GPT-3.5/GPT4), as people have reported qualitative/anecdotal evidence of good performance on these types of examples.
TLDR; still no neural ToM... 🧵

Next, a swords-and-sorcery RPG called “Swords of the Serpentine” by my dear friend @KevinKulp. This one is very beginner friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed it when I played. (That could also be because Kevin is a legendary GM.)
And finally, of course, Pandemic Legacy by THE @robdaviau. If you haven’t played this game, you should.

This is really good advice about writing a Statement of Purpose for PhD applications. It's not the only way to structure your SOP, but it's a great template! And more importantly, it gets you to articulate *why* you want a PhD, which is most important.
Epic way to begin a conference @RoboticsSciSys. At least we didn’t have to sit through a million previews. youtu.be/B5KmmPmmgpk
