Really great to have special guest @willnorman at our #EnfieldRoadPlaySteet today, he listened to the HNPS Pupil Parliament’s ideas about road improvements. Also @mayorofhackney and @LoveDeBeauvoir - thank you for coming and talking about the importance of play/safety with us!

To the untrained eye: a pile of boxes. To those who know: majestic structures. Because under the guise of 'PLAY', synapses are being sparked, communication is being honed, physics is being tested, strengths are being discovered... & oh yes indeed, FUN is being had! #playispower

Today is #InternationalDayOfPlay — and the theme is Choose Play — every day. 🛝 If play is going to be central to children’s lives, the Government has to treat it seriously. That's with policy, not platitudes. I’m looking forward to seeing the government make progress.

It was a beautiful thing yesterday to witness children from @TRIANGLE_APG discovering the magical lands of @HomertonGroveAP yesterday as part of the first APEX exchange visit, thanks to @TNLComFund. We'll say it again, #adventureplaygrounds are precious! #PlayisPowerful

It's #halfterm & we are blessed in London with over 70 staffed #adventureplaygrounds! Where children are FREE to jump, swing, get messy, make art or theatre, build, quietly read in a corner, invent games. THEY CHOOSE. Support these vital places: visit, promote, volunteer, donate.

From a rain-drenched joy-filled #adventureplayground on Monday to sun-drenched terraces at Houses of Parliament yesterday launching @playengland 10 year strategy #ItAllStartsWithPlay Now which politicians will stand up so all children have space time & freedom to play like this?
