I try staying off the hellsite these days. But wanted to say that this is good news!
The @NYCMayor’s new housing and zoning proposals just dropped:
-🏢 20% density bonus for developers who add 'affordable' units
- 🏠 1 and 2-family homeowners allowed to add an extra apartment
- 🚫🅿️ No parking requirements for new builds

One of the crazy things about Twitter’s rebrand is that about a zillion websites have spent the past decade putting the company’s logo all over themselves as free marketing. Everybody has a Twitter logo in their site’s header or footer! You couldn’t pay for that!
Excellent teardown (and rewrite) of this rebrand messaging:
Just off the cuff (thread):
“Hundreds of millions of people around the world use Twitter to share ideas, grow businesses, make new friends, and deepen relationships.
Soon, you’ll be able to do even more.
Today Twitter is becoming X, the global marketplace for not only discourse — but also goods, services, and opportunities.
As X evolves, we will double down on audio and video, offer more ways to monetize, make messaging more robust, and integrate financial services like payments and banking.
And of course, we will always keep improving the core product, which has seen record usage this month [or whatever stat, idk].
We’re listening to your comments, compliments, and even criticism — all of which helps us to serve you better and pushes us to deliver more. Keep it coming.
There’s no limit to what we can build together, alongside our teams and partners, and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store for the future.
Thank you for being part of X.”
