1. Acquire B6. 2. Two hubs in Florida 3. Profit

United needs a real Southern hub besides IAH.
BNA? I think BNA would be a slam dunk. It’s not a real AA hub and hasn’t been for decades.

This aircraft had quite a remarkable 32-year journey before yesterday's accident at Miami.
Boeing 767-33AER, MSN 27310, line number 545, first flew on June 17, 1994. It began life as a passenger aircraft and went on to serve airlines across Europe, Asia and Africa before being converted into a freighter.
Its journey included:
• 1994: Delivered to Sobelair as OO-SBY
• 2000: Joined Vietnam Airlines as VN-A768
• 2003: Returned to leasing company AWAS, then operated by Air Europa as EC-IQA
• 2006: Flew for Kenya Airways as 5Y-KQQ
• 2010: Joined Nordwind Airlines as VQ-BRA
• 2014: Withdrawn from service and stored at Shannon, Ireland
• 2015–16: Converted from a passenger Boeing 767-300ER into a BDSF freighter
• 2016: Joined Atlas Air and later Amazon Prime Air as N1997A, named “Amazon One”
• 2024–25: Stored at Miami-Opa Locka before returning to service
• January 2025: Began operating for Amazon Prime Air under 21 Air
After more than three decades in service, spanning passenger operations on three continents and a second life as a cargo freighter, N1997A's journey came to a tragic end at Miami International Airport.
AA eyes A330NEOs. This makes complete sense considering their current debt levels, range needs, and timelines.

Hundreds of workers at Heathrow have raised concerns over a plague of rodents at Britain’s flagship airport.
The airport’s cleanliness has come under scrutiny in a damning survey that revealed more than 250 workers had seen pests during their shifts. In one instance, an employee told union officials that they had seen a mouse drinking from a water fountain🔗

When opening a route to TLS, you only have one job:
Be funny, make the flight number match with Toulouse. Put as much 2’s as you can.
And United understood the assignment!
✈️ UA 222 to Toulouse ✈️
Not only a leader in the industry but also the coolest airline in the world! 💙

So unlikely. BOD cannot even support a direct flight to LHR.

Delta really needs to figure out what it's doing in Asia.
In the 2010s, it was all Sea-Tac and Haneda, now it's become effectively a Korean Air feeder at Incheon plus a growing LAX gateway.

From a very newsy Delta interview with @BTUK:
-Delta IS planning business class “plus” seats (with extra space & amenities at the bulkhead) on new A350s & A330s
-Not expecting A321neos with lie flat seats to be certified & flying for “about two more years
-Planning to resume LAX-London “in a few years” … with planes that are 70% premium seats
-And possibly reopen a second Sky Club at LAX

Late last night, a trespasser breached airport security at Denver Int’l Airport, deliberately scaled a perimeter fence, and ran out onto a runway.
The trespasser on the runway was then struck by Frontier Airlines Flight 4345 during takeoff at high speed. The pilot stopped takeoff procedures immediately.
The Frontier plane was then quickly evacuated while law enforcement and firefighters responded.
Preliminary reports are 12 people were hurt, with 5 taken to the hospital.
Local law enforcement handles airport security and is investigating with support from the @FAANews and TSA.
No one should EVER trespass on an airport.
