WordPress search returns matches. Your visitors need relevance. Query Filters 2.0 is here, FSE blocks, no shortcode, no custom php. WordPress search has always been a text scanner. Matches, not relevance. 2.0 changes that, weighted index, fuzzy matching, synonym dictionary, proximity scoring. All inside WordPress. No external services. groundworx.dev/resources/how…

How to scale an agency without hiring more people!
🔥 Mindset shift - more value per client, instead of more clients! How to scale an agency without hiring more people – Greyd Conversations #16 In this episode, Thomas Koschwitz sits down with Linus Banse, CEO of JUNG&BANSE GmbH, a five-person, design-led creative agency from Germany that builds digital products for mid-sized businesses and well-known industry leaders. The conversation covers what it actually takes to grow an agency without adding headcount: sharper process, longer client relationships, and a model built on doing fewer projects better. Some of the many takeaways: ✅ Clients who ask how big your team is are really asking whether their project is safe. Headcount measures capacity, not capability, and those are very different questions. ✅ Enterprise delivery is not about budget, complexity, or team size. Linus defines it as the ability to produce predictable outcomes under complex conditions, managing multiple stakeholders with structure and clarity. ✅ At some point, JUNG&BANSE was fully booked but not at maximum profit. The shift was not filling the pipeline with more clients, but moving to fewer, bigger, higher-value projects. ✅ Giving clients view and comment access inside Figma eliminated email chains, made project status visible at all times, and created a version history that held clients accountable for their own content decisions. ✅ When design and implementation were split between agencies, the final website never quite matched the original concept. Owning both processes internally closed that gap and raised customer lifetime value. ✅ The one thing Linus says small agencies should stop doing right now: reinventing delivery with every project. Build your standards once, then trust the process. Watch the full conversation here: eu1.hubs.ly/H0xSDtN0 #WordPress #AgencyGrowth #WebDesign

I've spent 20+ years in @WordPress. Most of that I was heads-down building and only recently have I connected with the community aspect. I stepped away from Websites for the last decade but now I'm back and I've been running growth and ops at @wpfusion for the last year. As a result I'm going to use this account differently. Not as a highlight reel but the actual work: revenue, messy ops, agent workflows, speaking prep, the stuff that breaks and what we did about it. In real time, as much as I can share honestly. I also want to be useful to plugin authors who are struggling. In my experience it's rarely the code that kills you. It's clarity, distribution, support, pricing - the boring parts nobody wants to tweet about. Happy to share what I've seen work and what I've got wrong over two decades in this ecosystem. There is a real fear in the ecosystem right now and many are trying to productise their way out of falling metrics. I don't think it's dying yet but I'm realistic about what the future looks like. I'm not trying to become an influencer, I don't have any agenda here other than documenting the work and showing up properly in the WordPress community - on stage where I can, in the replies where it helps. If you're building in this space, say hi 👋

Not sure it's the place to post, but I need more people to see this message. My wife's father is in the ICU, fighting for his life. The current hospital bill is around $5,000. My wife's family has already spent their savings. They've started taking out loans to keep the treatment going. We're trying to cover the next two weeks of ICU costs. It's painful to watch their struggle. I've never done this before, and honestly, it's uncomfortable. But I'd regret not asking. If my videos have ever helped you, or if you're just in a position to help, here's a link. 🔗ko-fi.com/aleksandrsamokhin Any amount matters. Every dollar will be donated to her family. If you can't donate, that's completely okay. Sharing this video helps too. And if you've been through something like this with your own family, I'd appreciate any advice in the comments. Like, repost, or comment for better reach. Thank you, and God bless.

Today's my last day as Head of AI at Automattic, and Core AI lead for WordPress. Shocking to think it's been only 18 months since the WPAI acquisition. j.cv/closing-a-chapter/ So much has happened. We formed Core AI for @WordPress, built the AI Building Blocks (the last ships in 7.0), grew Automattic AI from from ~10 folks to 50+, and #core-ai went from 0 to 1,000+. @automattic shipped AI site builders, built-in agents, Telex, agentic commerce in Woo, Parsely Sage, MCPs… an incredible group to get to work with each day, async or in the NoHo space.

Did you receive a cancellation mail from @screenstudio? ⬇️
Heads up: some Screen Studio users received a subscription cancellation email from Lemon Squeezy. We're in touch with Lemon Squeezy and looking into the root cause. This should not affect your access to the app. We'll post an update as soon as we know more.

Every founder who sells their company has to let go. I've been letting go since last fall. It's still hard to see a brand you built destroyed.
