DesignSetGo 2.10 is out, and it's mostly forms. Split long forms into steps, show a field only when an earlier answer calls for it, send submissions to Zapier or Make, and export them to CSV. Plus per-device layout controls for Section, Row and Grid. wordpress.org/plugins/design…

Been working on the Claude connector path in DesignSetGo Apps. You can describe a small app in a chat, preview it, then choose whether to install it on WordPress. It’s best for things you can get right in one conversation, like a booking form or a content widget. I wrote up the setup and where I’d switch over to the CLI instead: designsetgo.dev/blog/build-a…

Trying an Astro frontend with WordPress still running the CMS on a side project. So far I like it. I get the frontend flexibility without turning content updates into a code task. Still figuring out the cleanest divide between WordPress edits and code changes. That line gets messy pretty quickly.

DesignSetGo 2.7 is out. I went a little overboard on this one. New charts, hotspots, text paths, animated headlines, off-canvas panels, and more. The things I’m most excited about are the new interactions system and Woo product filters that can drive a custom query loop. Charts are plain SVG with a screen-reader data table, and we also knocked out a bunch of annoying slider edge cases. designsetgoblocks.com/design…

Vibe coding gets you a polished prototype fast. The harder part is the runtime: what the app can access, how it fits on a WordPress site, and what happens when it breaks. That’s the gap I’m trying to bridge with DesignSetGo Apps. Build in Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, or wherever you work, then ship to WordPress as a sandboxed app with permissioned access to the data it needs. Early, but it’s starting to feel like a better path from prompt to production for small tools. designsetgo.dev/
