The novel “The Player of Games” explores the ways in which people are vulnerable to manipulation, even in such a society, because of ego.

This is Clark. She wanted to play hide and seek with a sock. Decided swallowing it was an easy win, but her vet cheated and found it using an x-ray machine. We covered the cost of her surgery to get it out, and hope she picks a different hiding place next time. 13/10

For clarification: this was for a Halloween party at a dance club. This was not just “how we dressed” in the 90’s.
I'm finally watching Dune and... it's POSSIBLE I also am maintaining a spreadsheet of my impressions as things go. 😆 I will share it with anyone who is interested when I'm done.
I am excited beyond comprehension.
I made a promise to myself that I would react to and assess this movie purely from memory, without looking details up. I may go back and do a second spreadsheet that "fact-checks" my initial gut reaction as well.
But either way, I'll share my initial impression if y'all want it.
