The Israeli army has intentionally destroyed part of the water plant infrastructure in the town of Markaba. This is a war crime and an act of genocide. Israel systematically targets civilian infrastructure in Lebanon.
Genocide is defined under Article Il of the 1948 UN Genocide Convention as any act committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. One of the five acts is “deliberately imposing destructive life conditions.”
Remember that more than 65 towns and villages in Lebanon are still under Israeli occupation and are still undergoing daily illegal civilian home and infrastructure demolition.
Genocide. Domicide. Urbicide. Ecocide.
I’m running out of words to describe the devastation of the town of Khiam, which is inside the illegal Israeli ‘security zone’ in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army has razed the entire town to the ground and destroyed the 100 year old Khiam detention center, placing an illegal military base on the ruins of it.

Maybe if murdering Brown people had been a disqualifier, we wouldn’t be here to begin with. Another day, another reminder that much of the American left only seems to treat rape and murder as disqualifying when the victims are Americans & not overseas.

It turns out the reason that Netanyahu stated its time for the US to end its $3.8 billion dollar a year arms subsidies to Israel is because House GOP leaders have inserted provisions into the NDAA now being considered by Congress to integrate the US and Israeli militaries. This integration is being planned to a degree the US has never done before with any other foreign military establishment with tens of billions of dollars of joint research and arms production.
This will serve to ensure that the US military continues to be used as Israel's Foreign Legion to fight Israel's wars so Israel doesn't have to expend any ground or naval forces to do so. This just shows the level to which Israel, a tiny country the size of El Salvador controls not just the White House but Congress as well.
Netanyahu and Lindsey say its fine to shut down the $3.8B a year in military aid to Israel. They don't tell you how they will make it up— by "partnering" with the US military directly.
It begins here.

‼️TAKE ACTION: Congress quietly introduced plans that would intertwine our military with Israel’s, giving Israel unprecedented access to American military technology and research at a time when public opinion of the Israeli government is at an all-time low.
Same pathetic playbook
I’m the only developer of data centers on earth that graduated from environmental studies. I'm pretty aware of what these concerns are. They are around air, water use, heat, noise pollution. So sustainability is at the heart of what we do in terms of all these proposals. We search for the best technology. There's many air-cooled turbines now, so you're blending in air-cooled versus water. There's so many different ways to generate power. We can also put a percentage of the power generation through solar, wind, and batteries because the battery technology is 10X more efficient than it was just five years ago. So that's very helpful because it makes the cost of energy lower.

There is no evidence to support the claim that the protesters against O’Leary’s project were bussed in or paid. The data center in Box Elder county will be 100% powered by natural gas.

The detention in Kuwait of award-winning Palestinian-American and Kuwaiti journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, simply for reporting on an incident in the US-Israel aggression on Iran, is a shameful attack on press freedom, an act of arbitrary detention, and a gross violation of Kuwait’s obligations under the ICCPR. Ahmed must be freed, and the Kuwaiti government must finally commit to human rights at home and in its foreign policy. #FreeAhmedEldin #FreeAhmed

It is at this point unclear whether the announced departure of the US delegation from Islamabad is a negotiating tactic, or whether it represents the termination of negotiations and potentially a premature end to the two-week ceasefire agreement as well.
The reason it is difficult to offer an assessment is because the US negotiators are so out of their depth, and so detached from reality, that it is entirely possible they expected negotiations would be concluded within a single session with Iran unconditionally accepting all of Washington's demands.

Listen up, Trump, and every dumb fuck in Washington who still thinks the Strait of Hormuz is some kind of American parking lot.
This aint international waters. Never was. Never will be.
Under the law of the sea, every coastal country gets twelve nautical miles of its own goddamn territorial water. The narrowest choke point in Hormuz is only twenty one miles wide. That means Iran and Oman own the whole fucking strait from shore to shore. Overlapping. Locked. Closed. No high seas. No open ocean free for all.
Iran controls the big islands too, Qeshm, Hormuz, Larak, Abu Musa, the whole chain. You sail through, you are in somebody elses house.
Iran never even signed that UNCLOS treaty, so they dont have to play your transit passage game. They say innocent passage and they mean it. You bring guns or you bring trouble, they can say no.
America starts wars because it never learned geography in school. They bomb first, read the map later. Before you drag us into another bloodbath, open a fucking atlas. The water belongs to the land that touches it. Not to the country that prints the most dollars.
Learn it now or bleed for it later.

🚨 #NY10 SCOOP: Brad Lander joins call to end U.S. aid to Israel, including funding for Iron Dome, in quest to replace Rep. Dan Goldman.
“Israel should have access to purchase it with their own funds,” Lander tells me.
Goldman said he supports some conditions re: compliance with human rights, but will “always support defensive systems that keep civilians out of harm’s way.”

There is no ceasefire. Like Gaza before it, Lebanon is being decimated to make way for annexation. That’s what this war was always about—using your tax dollars for their territorial expansion.
BREAKING! Amid widespread bombing across Arab regions, Israel approves its largest-ever colonial expansion. Under the "fog of war'', what I warned on 14 Oct 2023 is unfolding: the largest ethnic cleansing/land grab in Palestine, since the Nakba. It’s happening. Under our watch.
Replying to @EpshtainItay
BREAKING: More details come into view. #Israel’s Security Cabinet has reportedly approved 34 new settlements, further entrenching its unlawful presence deep within the occupied State of #Palestine. The secrecy surrounding the decree appears calibrated, not for domestic necessity, but to spare discomfort among allies in the region, Europe and the United States.
The ICJ Advisory Opinion on the Legal Consequences of the Occupation of Palestinian Territory (2024) was unambiguous. Israel is under an obligation to bring its unlawful presence to an end, unconditionally and without delay. Third States are under a corresponding duty not to aid or assist in maintaining that situation, and to cooperate to bring it to an end.
Yet the response has been one of studied inaction. The Court spoke with clarity; the world replied with silence. Israel, reading that silence for what it is, has chosen not restraint, but acceleration of its colonization efforts.
