Unpopular opinion: Chicago backdrop for a big sporting event is the best our country has to offer. The visuals of the loop, the lake and the river are just perfect.

If adulting has taught me anything, it's that you will ALWAYS be cleaning your kitchen.
Go out to eat? Kitchen is dirty
Weren't home all day? Dirty kitchen.
Just got back from a month long vacation? Kitchen. Is. Still. Dirty.
Just accept it. This is the way.

If you get Trump to curse you out and flip you the bird, you deserve a million dollars.

This remarkable achievement speaks volumes about the heart of our students and the generosity of our state. While the competition has concluded, the need for blood remains constant—please consider continuing to donate and share the message that giving blood saves lives.
Thank you to the NU community and all who participated in the 2025 #WeGiveBlood competition. Nebraska contributed 14,551 donations, saving as many as 43,653 lives. Nationwide, the competition is estimated to have saved nearly 250,000 lives this fall. nebraska.edu/news-and-events…

Somalis are not garbage. Immigrants and refugees from anywhere are people like you and me. They should not be demonized. This country is built on the backs of people who have come from other places. It’s what our country is all about. 💙

It’s really hilarious that Trump’s entire presidency is just one perpetual scam to enrich his sons via crypto while his working class supporters get their food stamps cut off.

My wife and I decided to watch Trump’s interview on 60 Minutes and we didn’t make it 5 minutes before we had to shut it down.
Trump is a machine gun of lies. Norah O’Donnell would start to fact check him and he’d already be onto his next lie, followed by another lie. Maddening.

The lack of urgency about the shuttered govt is something to behold. Everyone has left DC: the House, the Senate and POTUS is leaving again. What a complete and utter failure of leadership.

Hegseth loves saying "lethal kinetic strike" because it sounds so much better than "murder"
Earlier today, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War carried out a lethal kinetic strike on yet another narco-trafficking vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization (DTO) in the Eastern Pacific.
This vessel, like all the others, was known by our intelligence to be involved in illicit narcotics smuggling, was transiting along a known narco-trafficking route, and carrying narcotics. Four male narco-terrorists were aboard the vessel—and killed—during the strike, which was conducted in international waters. No U.S. forces were harmed in this strike.
The Western Hemisphere is no longer a safe haven for narco-terrorists bringing drugs to our shores to poison Americans. The Department of War will continue to hunt them down and eliminate them wherever they operate.
