The Irish obsession with 'massive' houses and big garages for big cars is quite remarkable. Whisper it quietly, but apart from successive governments mismanaging housing policy, our desire to live in 100 sqm plus houses hasn't helped either.
Irish people are obsessed with mowing lawns, mowing grass borders and mowing public areas. People just don't understand or appreciate the consequences of their attitude. For these people, pollinator areas are breeding grounds for rats. Unbelievable.
They'll be all gone in Ireland too & people will ask what happened & I will say, we tried, we pushed, you argued against us, you were swayed by big business & tech bros, you wouldnt listen. 63% of 🇮🇪's wild bird populations are in trouble. Please listen.

What makes people choose public transport as an option? Apart from a good schedule and connections, people like good public toilets. So @Translink_NI / @TFIupdates, please extend the toilets in #Dungannon. It's just not good enough.
The X4 @Translink_NI Dublin-Derry route needs to be reconsidered. It's 16.10 and we haven't left Dungiven, let alone arrived in Derry. Somehow Cookstown needs to be avoided. @TFIupdates
I'm on the Dublin train from Killarney, but those people - and there are lots more - are waiting on the service for Tralee. A two-hourly service ... in a first-world country. No wonder car brain exists. We need to do better for the regions.
