“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!”

First time I’ve seen this angle, but the Bryce Harper hyped up shove of Andrew Painter is incredible.

We are more prone to panic when we forget God’s promises. So let’s not forget... God has been faithful before... He'll be faithful again.

Today we honor our friend Charlie Kirk, who served God, cherished his family, and loved his country. Charlie boldly lived the truth that following Jesus should impact EVERYTHING a Christian does. He is now absent from the body but PRESENT WITH THE LORD.

Wouldn't you have loved to have been on that walk with Jesus for 2.5 hours when He unpacks how the Old Testament points to Him?

When COVID hit our planet, we thought we had seen evil. The power grab and the totalitarian agenda were never really about the virus. They were merely a dress rehearsal for what the future will bring.
Then came October 7.
Together with my nation, I was exposed to evil on an entirely new level. The sheer demonic nature of the atrocities was unlike anything we had ever witnessed.
Was it about land? Politics? Religion?
No.
It was a dress rehearsal for a much darker time that will one day befall the Jewish people and everyone who stands with them.
We are living in the days of the dress rehearsal.
The actual script of the play was written for us two thousand years ago.
True believers are those who know the script and recognize the rehearsal for what it is.
The good news is that we do not have seats at the premiere.
We are not invited.
We will be gone.
We will be far away.
We will be occupied with something infinitely greater.
We have a wedding to attend.
So while we are still here at the dress rehearsal, holding the script in our hands, let us proclaim the Good News that there is a way to escape that coming day.
Yes, the rehearsal is painful enough to wound us, bring tears to our eyes, and break our hearts.
But…
We are not destined for that wrath. We have been promised deliverance from it, not preservation through it.
Paul reminded the believers in Thessalonica that we are:
“…to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.”
1 Thessalonians 1:10 (NKJV)
And only a few chapters later he explained why:
“For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus the Messiah.”
1 Thessalonians 5:9 (NKJV)
Awaiting His Soon Return,

I am convinced that our redemption is drawing near!
That is exactly why I stepped away from the constant flow of news.
That is also why many are no longer following.
The world is captivated by what is happening.
I am captivated by Who is coming.
Don’t be of the world.
Be in the Word!
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
Matthew 24:44 (NKJV)

People imagine that dying to self makes one miserable. But it is just the opposite. It is the refusal to die to self that makes one miserable. The more we know of death with Him, the more we shall know of His life in us, and so the more of real peace and joy.

A study by the American Bible Society (ABS) finds that reading the Bible has better self-care outcomes than exercising, meditating, or even spending time with friends.
The State of the Bible report examined the impact of common self-care activities, including exercising, volunteering in the community, meditating, and praying, on individuals' levels of stress, anxiety, loneliness, and hope. They then compared how reading Scriptures impacted those same feelings...

Why do people hate because I’ve been saying positive things about America?
They think what I say is too good to be true.
All I do is document my journey and experiences.
