Years ago I won a competition & a book by @friebos called Mountain Higher At the time, due to an old overuse injury, I wasn't even cycling. I stared wistfully at those climbs 😢 Today I returned to the mountains for the 1st time in 15yrs, choosing Mont Tendre to break the spell – at Montricher, Suisse

I would just like to say that I'm impressed with #ios27 #SiriAI for now – just asked it to surface an image in my Photos, with the loosest, most inaccurate description (daughter "chopping garlic” when she was in fact peeling onion!), and it found it immediately. 😳👏🏻🎉

They crushed it with the Duo.

They've managed to make it even *worse*?! I'm still seething every time I try and launch a workout and I have to scroll between options with the precision of a bomb disposal expert Then ultimately select the wrong one anyway because the interface is so damned laggy!!😠

I hate these changes but they’re very clearly trying to brute force a change in how the watch is actually used. The app model is on its way out.

Stop getting lost inside Finder. Open Finder, choose View, then select Show Path Bar. Your current folder path will appear at the bottom of the window, and you can double-click an earlier folder to jump directly back to it.

So, this works! I'd allowed a bit of fluid to escape at the piston end (don't ask) and the brake was super-spongy as a result. Until I did this! 🙌🏻 m.youtube.com/shorts/28dyHKp…

Upon arrival I discovered a selection of photos taken autonomously by my phone, from inside my cycling shorts pocket. I like the vibe it was going for – sort of 70's nostalgia. Has promise!

That's that then. We're watching for the lesser places and stage win stories. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #TDF2026

I've done that thing again where I've got so sucked into the TdF over-hype that fills the vacuum after the Dauphiné, I failed to check dates and was convinced it was starting today. Every. Damn. Year. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Wow, what an extraordinary finish! I really didn't see the sprinters getting over that climb. Nor everybody staying upright at the end!

My 80yrs neighbour, a keen cyclist has renewed his road bikes every 5 years or so. I asked how he got this ££ spending past his wife. His secret - His custom bike builder paints all his new bikes exactly the same! 🚴‍♀️🤣

What a great video to announce it. Among all the AI slop and nonsense football-style announcement videos. How refreshing.
