Here's a crazy stat:
Before the Sissons goal, the #Preds had scored eight goals in the first period all season. Ryan Ellis has factored into the scoring on six of them.
Kunin makes it 2-0!
This is the first time since February 4 the #Preds have scored twice in the first period.
Regardless of the score, this is the best Nashville has looked in the opening frame this season.
Huge rebound, Jarnkrok collects it, settles it, and fires it home to give the #Preds their 8th first period goal of the season.
Tonight's is Ben Harpur's first game in a #Preds sweater and his 104th NHL game.
It's 2021 and I just realized that Napoleon Dynamite is merely a live-action Beavis backstory before he met Butt-head.

I often wonder if we overlook the impact Pekka Rinne had on the game. He was one of the first big goaltenders who could move like a guy 5-6 inches shorter ...

Just saw a fake @PredsNHL account report David Poile's firing. The account has been blocked and reported.
Look for the blue checkmark people.... even though I never got mine. ;)

#Preds goals per game w/ Johansen: 2.8. Without him? 1.33. In the 6 games w/o him, 4 games w/ 1 goal or less.
Goes to show the lack of depth. They can't afford to have one key injury, even if 92 only has 4 points in 10 games.
The #Preds have scored just 8 goals in their last 6 games.
Their 36 goals are 7th worst in the NHL.
The guys listed below are in the primes of their careers. There is no reason they should (now) be averaging 2.25 goals per game.
Johansen = 5x 60+pt scorer
Duchene = 3x 60+pt scorer
Forsberg = 2x 30+g scorer
Arvidsson = 2x 30+g scorer
Granlund = 2x 65+pt scorer
Haula = former 55pt scorer
Josi = 5x 50+pt scorer
There's no reason the #Preds should be averaging 2.5 goals per game.
If the #Preds played like this in the first two periods, it'd be a completely different story.
