Ethiopia has revived 1,115 Factories, created 1.6 million jobs in just 4 years. $6 billion worth of imported products has been substituted with local ones. This is just phase 1 of their plan. The numbers dont show it yet, but Ethiopia is way gone. It will take YEARS to catch up.
News: #Kenya overtakes #Ethiopia as East Africa’s largest economy in dollar terms, #IMF estimates show Addis Abeba - Kenya has overtaken Ethiopia as #Eastern _frica’s largest economy measured by nominal gross domestic product (#GDP) in #US dollar terms, according to the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) October 2026 World Economic Outlook (#WEO), a shift largely attributed to exchange-rate movements rather than faster real economic growth. The IMF’s estimates show Ethiopia’s economy continuing to expand more rapidly in real terms, even as the depreciation of the birr reduced the dollar value of its output. Kenya’s comparatively stronger currency performance, alongside continued economic growth, helped increase the value of its economy when measured in US dollars. addisstandard.com/?p=60365

It’s actually the other way round Mr. President. There is a reason the right to life and the fundamental freedoms come first in the Bill of Rights. More than anything else we want to live in a free and democratic country because in the dark of the grave where you put Rex Maasai and Albert Ojwang, you can’t see shiny things.
President William Ruto has declared that freedom and democracy are meaningless without development, sharpening the political debate with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna over what Kenya needs ahead of the 2027 general election. Read the full story here: shorturl.at/rIhJz

They're in front of cameras every week putting up shit performances without fear but in the dressing room they're scared of saying bad words infront of the camera? Kateam 😂

Aguthi was a concentration camp in Nyeri-brutal, deliberate, and built to break a people. That ground later became Kangubiri Senior School. The conversion did not wash the soil clean. It only covered it.Then came the small lie: that Kangubiri was born from the black man’s failure to pronounce “can go free.” A childish story. A colonial comfort. As if our place names were only the stammer of a prisoner begging for exit. The truth is harder and older. That land was a meeting point of the people of Mungaria. A great mufiri tree stood there. From that tree and that gathering the name arose-not from English mercy, not from a misheard phrase, but from our own ground and our own tongue. They rewrote the camp into a school and the name into a joke so that memory would soften. It will not. Aguthi was brutality. Kangubiri is the mubiri and the people who met beneath it. The lie ends when we speak the truth without fear.

Watch a Mau Mau revolutionary explain how he resisted British colonialism, and why the fight isn't over. Maina wa Murigu took up arms against British colonial rule and is still waiting for his land back, more than six decades after independence. Speaking from Nairobi on Kenya's 63rd Madaraka Day, he described fighting British soldiers with machetes, seizing their weapons and retreating into the forests. Madaraka Day, marked every June 1, commemorates the day Kenya achieved self-rule from Britain in 1963. "Our parents died without ever getting justice," he said. "We are soon following them." Britain's response to the uprising was a state of emergency lasting from 1952 to 1959. The Kenya Human Rights Commission estimates 90,000 Kenyans were executed, tortured or maimed. 160,000 were detained. Nazi-style concentration camps held over 1.5 million more. Documents recording the atrocities were later destroyed or hidden by British authorities.

No. Wantam is an ideology that should live on beyond Ruto. Even Sifuna should know if he lets us down as a country during his first term, it's WANTAM
Until we find someone serious again, Sifuna will rule till 2042.

Arsenal media team ladies and gentlemen 👏🏽 it's not just about football, it's about a culture of connecting with the fans. Haven't yet been to the Emirates but content like this make me feel like I'd feel at home there.

I reiterate, if you haven't found love by now, forget it. Completely. Moreso if you are 33-. Your whole dating life you have consumed a daily, heavy stream of anti male/female content, loving someone now with a clean heart is impossible. Even if you try, modern society wont allow

Another error we made with public transport is that we allowed them too close to homes. Every country I've been to with proper public transport you have to walk/cycle to board where they are. That keeps residentials liveable. In Kenya we want the boda/mats to come to our bedroom

To those asking or wondering why we have Milk shortage in Kenya👇🏾 It's all in the Finance Bill for FY 2026/27 that was PASSED by PARLIAMENT and SIGNED into law by The President. Moving animals feeds from 0-rating to Tax-Exempt increased production Cost for all dairy farmers.
To those who are asking if I have read finance bill 2026 or I'm just rejecting it here is your answer.
