A lot of former onchain traders have shifted focus to trading perps after experiencing the current state of onchain
Think it makes sense
Onchain has changed quite a lot & is in a weird spot in its evolution as a game/market
The most predictable source of flows is currently whether a certain social account will buy; as opposed to whether an exchange will list, whether the coin is viral, whether the community has an army of bagworkers, etc.
These flows are not durable, low conviction & also just too small to take things into the billions.
There's nothing attractive about onchain in its current state for 7-8fig capital; and ultimately that means lower ceilings & smaller returns
Liquidity begets liquidity
Things can always change, but it will take some magic from the trenches

Patience and knowing when to wait
Have only done 1 trade this year, not because i do not see more setups, but because so often sudden news appears and things reverse again in either direction
I am not permanently behind my screen or do alerts on my phone so i am not a news-driven trader .Also, Trump talks so often, posts so often, that this is really something to take into account as a trader as an unexpected factor effecting markets
I also think the fact that he influences the markets so often with his posts also means enormous fraud and corrupt money-making is going on for his family and associates, hopefully all that crime will come to light one day. Crypto celebrating ¨crime-season¨ was obviously also a pretty sick thing.
I think overall will preserve capital and wait to trade more until:
- bitcoin has clearly bottomed and new uptrend begun, or we re-claim some major htf´s levels, has not yet happened obviously
- Trump has calmed down, and the world is a bit more stable with less wars etc, so that could still be a while
- less disturbing news appear every day that can reverse price-action so fast
- overall the markets and world less jittery
Patience is cultivated through inner development and sitting in silence, so less screen time means more of that

2025 is a 9-year.
It is a year to complete cycles, finish chapters, tie up loose ends, and prepare for the 9-year cycle.
2026 is a 1-year.
It is a time for fresh beginnings, new chapters, and major initiation.
Think back to 2016 (the last 9 year).
What similar themes can you see in 2016 and 2025?
What cycles did you complete then, and what cycles are you completing now?
What did you let go of, and what did you step into?
And then, do the same for 2017 and 2016.
What similarities can you see in 2017 that you envision for yourself in 2026?
What new chapters are starting for you?
What initiation are you stepping into?
Remember, time is not linear.
It's a spiral.
The future will rhyme with the past.
It will just have a different flavor.
And it will contain deeper lessons.

- Regretted decisions

- Did not pull the trigger when i knew i had too
-Overleveraged & underleveraged
- Got tired of it, came back again
- Wondered why we all do this in the first place
We all learn in this crazy casino the hard way, but just know you are not alone with making countless mistakes.
It took me many years to understand this space a bit, and still, surprised every day by what can happen and how i still make mistakes sometimes.
Humility, you are not alone here thinking this is not easy often, and mark my words, if you live a content, humble, happy life, you have achieved more than most on here.
