A lot of former onchain traders have shifted focus to trading perps after experiencing the current state of onchain Think it makes sense Onchain has changed quite a lot & is in a weird spot in its evolution as a game/market The most predictable source of flows is currently whether a certain social account will buy; as opposed to whether an exchange will list, whether the coin is viral, whether the community has an army of bagworkers, etc. These flows are not durable, low conviction & also just too small to take things into the billions. There's nothing attractive about onchain in its current state for 7-8fig capital; and ultimately that means lower ceilings & smaller returns Liquidity begets liquidity Things can always change, but it will take some magic from the trenches
