I've dedicated a lifetime of service to our nation, from enlisting in the Marine Corps at 17, to taking the oath once again on 9/12/2001 and shipping out to the front lines.
On January 6th, extremists again threatened the lives of our fellow Americans. This time, it wasn't only lives they held at risk, but the very democracy I fought to defend. And it isn't over - they'll be back.
This must be our moment to rally together, to fight back with the full force of our convictions, and ensure that the likes of @laurenboebert and her extremist allies have no place in the future of American politics.
The end of their era is not inevitable - it will only come if we stand united in this fight, and reclaim what it means to be a patriot.
