VICTORY for the workers at @RovePest who voted overwhelmingly to go union with @cwa7250 on Friday. This is a big deal - Pest Control has been a growing, massively profitable industry w/poor conditions & pay, little oversight, and no union presence. ❤️✊ @CWAUnion @SolidaritySeven
Thank a Union it’s Friday! We are so proud to be moving into finalizing our contract. GSWU is looking forward to campaign season!
When you buy a t-shirt or buttons in support of a cause or candidate, look for the union bug and make sure your purchase goes to actually support the cause! They often look similar to this. ⬇️
ALT An example of a union bug. It reads information about the local union of the workers who printed or made it. Allied Printing Union Label Trades Council Detroit Michigan R 40
.@CWA7250 members are 🤩🤩🤩.
Today is the day! @RovePest Control goes UNION!
The unity of the self-organized workers pays off - & we can start bargaining for Living wages with real raises; Legit health care; paid time off for vacations, sick time and bereavement. @CWAUnion @SolidaritySeven

An awesome thread to read about how bias is covering the UAW negotiations.

Less than 1 year after receiving voluntary recognition of our Union, we are on the verge of signing our first contract. This week we are on the verge of signing an agreement we are truly proud of. HUGE thanks to @cwa7250 for helping and supporting our efforts every step!
Our bargaining unit worked extremely hard to secure these wins and we had great organizers in @cwa7250. Our management took this process seriously and remained committed to coming to agreements. We know this will prove to be a secure and growing workplace for years to come.
Huge shout out to our founding Steward @saravcdz, who bargained these wins. 🤩🤩🤩

When working people unite for a seat at the table on the job, non-union workers benefit too! America is strong when unions are strong, and unions built the middle class. That’s why we’re uniting across industries and racial lines to demand #UnionsForAll! seiu.co/45XJeaN

Labor organizing is not just a talking point: it's essential for our future. As tech becomes a dominant force in politics, the call for union representation grows louder.
Every technologist, every organizer, every worker deserves to have their rights upheld.
Such great news! Organize your workplace, ESPECIALLY if it is a union! Quality jobs in organizing that folx can sustain themselves on are a MUST.

We stand in solidarity with the striking workers at @InsiderUnion! Insider management must stop the unfair labor practices and begin bargaining in good faith.
We're so proud of our work in the progressive and labor movement space. We're looking forward to finalizing our contract to join the movement with both feet!
Proud of the @GoodstockWorker team at @Goodstock_Co for being recognized by @GAINPOWERORG #PowerfulIDEA awards for all the hard work they’ve put in.
