Two important updates for you today:

The v9 release is a big one as it has a Python 3 backend and full React frontend. Two big behind the scenes changes we were working on and happy to see them finally delivered.
Also it has new data sources and many improvements and bug fixes (more details in the CHANGELOG).

Beta release for Redash V8 is finally here 🙌 After months of work and contributions from 46 people, we're happy to present the latest version of Redash.

This version includes many updates to the parameters support in Redash (including support for parameters in embeds/shared dashboards), 4 new data source types, improvements to many existing data sources, and much more.

We are working hard to be responsive to the contributors and we always feel like we're not responsive enough. It's comforting to know that at least compared to others we're doing a decent job😅
