At @AFSICafrica 2026 in London, Team Rwanda showcased Rwanda’s investment opportunities through the Rwanda Country Summit, convened by @Kigali_IFC, @RDBrwanda and @RSSB_Rwanda, under the theme “Investing in Rwanda: Where Innovation, Inclusion and Capital Meet.”
In his remarks, H.E. @BusingyeJohns, Rwanda’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, highlighted the country’s investment potential and opportunities for stronger international partnerships.
Institutional investors and fund managers domiciled under KIFC (@RSSB_Rwanda , @wariobaventures, @RugoriNetwork ) came together for a panel discussion to explore how capital can reach businesses with growth potential.
The conversation highlighted that Rwanda has incredible investment opportunities, but unlocking them requires investment-ready businesses with strong governance, reliable financial information and scalable models. Bridging financing gaps calls for partnerships between international investors, domestic institutions, fund managers and local businesses.
KIFC and RDB support market entry and investment structuring, while RSSB is open to credible co-investment opportunities. Opportunities span agriculture, healthcare, education and financial services, with Rwanda serving as a gateway to wider African markets.
The summit also promoted the Inclusive FinTech Forum (#IFF2027), which will take place in Kigali on 16–18 March 2027 and continue to connect African and global stakeholders around innovation and inclusive finance.

Paycode is focused on biometric identity and payments infrastructure that works where banking often does not.
For treasurers, the challenge is clear: build digital money systems that are fast, accountable, sovereign and safe.
Permanent traceability on public blockchains can create risks for refugees and displaced people over time.
In low-connectivity markets, a system that needs real-time connectivity is not truly last-mile ready.
Those needs include offline capability, identity binding, de-duplication without documents and local bank integration.

But moving value is not the whole problem. At the last mile, identity is often the bottleneck, not payments.
Stablecoins have made cross-border payment transport faster and more cost-efficient. That is a real breakthrough.
