¡Gran victoria de @LulaOficial! Lo que ha pasado en Brasil, pasará en España. La remontada del progresismo global acaba de comenzar.

I'm glad that this man is still alive so that he can mention more of those names of fellow murderers. It's actually amazing that it seems there's quite a few that are still alive.
Eugene De Kok appearing before the TRC Inquiry he says he was made a scapegoat. He says “FW De Klerk’s Nobel peace prize must be revoked because he is a killer who was never convicted.” @MakiLeshoro

In one day, two politicians - Bolsonaro in Brazil and Vucic in Serbia - with ties to Trump and his family have lost surprise elections, thanks to high turnout. The rise of the international far-right is not inevitable.

Well said, Songezo! My goodness! I wish other political leaders could make similar statements. But unfortunately some of them benefit from the toxic rhetoric currently emanating from the USA

I cannot believe that KwaZulu-Natal gave us Justice Dr Navi Pillay *and* Jacinta Zuma-Ngobese. Talk about Choose your fighter.

Luis Inacio "Lula" da Silva won. Democracy won. Authoritarianism lost. Right wing authoritarian imperialism lost. But we in South Africa must be vigilant. The wave of online disinformation attacks employed in Brazil for years is now here, in full force.

Ten states, whatever the results that are finalized later this cannot be reasonably described as a free and for democratic process
What a mess. Polling has supposedly closed in Brazil - and no word from Brazil's electoral authorities about whether voting hours will be extended because of apparent sabotage of public transport in at least 10 states

This is worse than 2022
Lula tells reporters he has never before complained about elections he has been involved in, irrespective of whether he had won or lost. "But this time something abominable is happening."

Pretty cool how the three greatest political orators in the United States are named Barack, Abdul, and Zohran. And all three are Muslims from Africa, mashallah!

Gambling will hurt South Africans more than all immigration, legal and illegal. Heart disease, TB and diabetes will each hurt more South Africans and cause more misery than all immigrants.

Isn't it interesting, all these videos of people we've never heard of, whose work is unknown, with no public archive or commentary on any issue, SUDDENLY appearing at the same time to bitch about Islam and halal food. In South Africa? In 2026? In the year of a local government election, suddenly mainly Black influencers and bots with black faces are recording Islamophobic commentary. For a fee no doubt. Who benefits from this? I hope @GovernmentZA is REALLY sharpening its lens on disinformation and paid campaigns. Deliberate manufacturing of religious and tribal hostility is a matter of national importance.

1. There is no “halal replacement of food.” Halal certification of packaged food has been practised in South Africa for decades & is voluntary. All the “halal-certified” label means is that the food products meet Islamic dietary requirements. Nothing is added to the food.

No one should have the right, power to go around the streets attacking and killing immigrants. It’s wrong , inhumane and unacceptable. We shouldn’t allow such in South Africa.

These 50 cowards must be found and tried along with Jacinta and a number of politicians, including Mashaba, who have fanned these flames. Zuma can stand there too, just for being a doos.
