Absolutely love this! year 8 students creating their own comics about human experiences of disasters. They look brilliant!
This term in Geography, Year 8 students have been learning about tropical storms through @gemmasou's graphic novel, #AfterMaria. At the end of the unit they created their own graphic pieces in response to what they had learned. Here is just some of the fantastic work created.

It says something that this isn’t the leading story in all papers - a school targeted yet again. Massacre in real-time incl of children & the world turns a blind eye. theguardian.com/world/articl…

Just heard that #hurricaneBeryl is now a CAT 5 storm heading for Jamaica in JUNE. 10 years ago I spoke about working hard to avoid what is now a reality today. My heart is literally broken.
Imagine being a #climateChange negotiator getting laughed out of the room in 2011 for talking about #1point5tostayalive and waking up in 2024 at 1.3C warming to a Cat 4 hurricane in JUNE heading for your home and neighboring islands. I’m scared but mostly Fucking livid.

I welcome any review of my mandate & all documents are available to the UN because I have never had, and will never have, anything to hide.
But the latest #UNWatch move is beyond the pale. They use an email from the UN which simply acknowledged the receipt of their complaint to falsely claim that the UN "has opened an investigation" against me.
UN Watch: keep ignoring Int'l Law, keep turning a blind eye on Israel’s massacres of Palestinian civilians & children, and stay focused on the world's most pressing issue: the (UNPAID!) fellowship of my research assistant.
Back to work now.

Can anybody shed light? Does anybody know if public drinking fountains have reduced in the UK? Do you know why this happened? And are there stats on how many have been lost and in which locations? @jonburkeuk?

Greatful for the opportunity to write about the over 200 year occupation of Haiti. Haiti is not a cursed island but purposely oppressed one. Every conflict on my island has been instigated and funded by foreign powers. A free Haiti is a free world, please read. ✊🏾🇭🇹
I love @ed_ade1 ‘s writing. Another great read!

Manchester screams for freedom, dignity and self determination for Palestinian people
Now: even more out for Palestine in Manchester - not just against Israel's abominable genocide & massacres of tented families in Rafah. Not just against the unfathomable, unthinkable crime of Israel murdering 16000 children in 8 months. But Israel's 76 years of brutal occupation and ethnic cleansing of Palestine that the media and the world's governments unspeakably kept quiet for so long. The people have finally woken up
