Week 1 at Edinburgh Uni- this week’s masters & undergrad lectures all about: why study public health, what’s it all about, the historical origins of the field, the major causes of disability & death & how we collectively respond to these issues (governance & financing).

One of the best things about Scotland is the tap water. Publicly owned, delicious, paid for collectively, & govt oversight and regulation of the pay of Scottish Water execs. Water for private profit makes no sense. Scotland shows there’s a better model.
