1. You asked a very fundamental question, what is ”china limited aim”. Actually it is quite simple if you read below carefully: among China geopolitical challenge priority around China boarder, India is only the 5th. 1st is Taiwan (USA) warontherocks.com/2020/06/ch…

In a 2008 interview after leaving the Élysée, Jacques Chirac was asked about France's relationship with Africa. His answer was not a diplomatic dodge. It was a confession.
"A large part of the money in our wallets comes precisely from the exploitation, over centuries, of Africa. Not only. But much of it comes from the exploitation of Africa. So we need a little common sense. I am not saying generosity. Common sense, justice, to give back to Africans what we took from them."
He called it "justice." Not charity. Not aid. Justice. He said it was necessary "if we want to avoid the worst convulsions or difficulties, with the political consequences that entails in the near future" .
The quote is documented by Franceinfo and cited in academic and activist publications . It is not a viral screenshot. It is a recorded statement from a man who led France for twelve years.
We are seeing the product and consequences of what he said in the streets of France today.
As the resources tap closes owing to the oppressed people's determination to end their oppression, it was inevitable that we will see this play out on the streets of France.
"They should’ve let Facebook in, given them some money, and then a little more and a little more to keep them on the line."
Ignorance is Lucky Palmer's bliss....
China properly kicked Facebook OUT after they refused to help in the investigation of the Uyghur extremist terrorist attacks which took place with the terrorists using Facebook to communicate with one another TO KILL PEOPLE.
That's why Facebook was booted out. Bravo Beijing.
Who the F do you think you are as a social media platform aiding murderous terrorist criminals and then refusing to cooperate in the investigation of those murderous terrorist criminals?
As to Google & X, no they are not kicked out. China had very reasonable requirements for them to follow regarding data storage and other policies which those companies didn't want to comply with. That's because they are greedy corporations who want to allow anonymous accounts and porn to boost their revenues which China doesn't allow. They can't make money by exploiting people, China won't let them exploit its citizens.
Like I said, Bravo Beijing...so glad to live here.

Palmer Luckey says China made a massive strategic mistake by shutting out American tech giants… and argues the U.S. should take full advantage of it 🇺🇸🇨🇳
“China tricked all of our tech companies and media companies into believing that China was this revenue opportunity. They basically caused our technology innovation economy to decouple from our government, our country, and our national responsibilities.
What they should have done was actually give them a slice of the Chinese pie. They should’ve let Facebook in, given them some money, and then a little more and a little more to keep them on the line.
But instead, they eventually said, ‘Ha ha, we tricked you. We’re not going to allow you in, and we’re going to subsidize ByteDance and TikTok to take over your entire social media industry.’
That was when American tech companies realized China was not their friend.
We should take advantage of this mistake to the fullest.”

Eek, this Indian guy wants "racists" to stop saying bad things about India and attack the Chinese instead.
Let's just say, the comment section isn't holding back... ⬇️⬇️⬇️
These racists have a lot to say about Indians, but why are they so quiet when it comes to China? Maybe because they know China won’t tolerate the same level of disrespect. They assume Indians are too polite and well-mannered to fight back, so they keep pushing their limits.
Never mistake an Indian’s good manners for weakness. Being civil doesn’t mean being an easy target.

China has low nominal GDP because Chinese RMB is ridiculously under valued for what you can get within the country and China doesn’t count services the same way as America does in GDP.
China sort of treats services as a cost of production rather than production itself while in America, speaking to a lawyer for an hour adds $500 to GDP.
China has low wages (like city dwellers might make $15k income) but it’s actually not too much lower than Japan or many Western European countries like Portugal (25-30k). It’s a lot lower than US bc of how ridiculously overvalued the dollar is.
Though keep in mind, 85%+ of humanity lives in a country that have average wage lower than China
"The products we consider a luxury in India has become a commodity in China." - this is true for rest of the world as well.
Hence, China's 15K$ GDP per capita nominal goes very far. So when you evalutate China's standard of living PPP (32K$) is the right measure.
I had this experience. I typically stay in Marriot 4-5 stars due to years of loyalty to the brand, but one time I had to stay in a service apartment kind of property in Shanghai. It was a last min booking on a very popular day and everything was sold out. It was quite a nice area. I was bit annoyed still
But, when I stayed there, I absolutely loved it. What I loved was how high quality everything was: bed, other furniture, paitnings on the wall, linen, plates, cutlery and so on...they also had a great gym and good breakfast for a cheap price. It was not empty - it was full, if anyone doubts they were doing it due to low occupancy.
Most of the things are made locally and are procured at a fraction of price people pay outside China. Same applies to cars, electronics, apparel and so on...hence money goes very far in China.
That is why I say when you evalutate China's standard of living PPP (32K$) is the right measure.

🚨 Japan is About to Nuke the Global Economy
Very dangerous statements are coming out from Japan right now.
BOJ Governor Kazuo Ueda has gone on-record and warned that Japan can no longer tolerate rising inflation, and says that interest rate hikes are inevitable.
Finance Minister Katayama says, “Will act without hesitation if necessary and WON'T HESITATE TO TAKE ACTION ON FX IF NEEDED.”
This is a clear signal from Japan that the U.S. interventions are over.
Why?
Japan was about to end its era of free money and initiate the catastrophic carry trade unwind. The BoJ and Finance Minister threatened of bold actions and Yuto even apologized for the measure prepared.
Then boom…. U.S. Treasury Secretary directly intervened and took over BoJ operations. He stopped Japan from dumping their $1.4 Trillion Treasury holdings and instead asked the FED to lend Japan U.S. dollars to dump it and try to save the yen.
IT ALL FAILED. Yen is falling back to pre-intervention levels.
Rates are surging while the yen is falling.
Scott Bessent Also Gave A Terrifying Statement For The Markets: “I cannot control the bond market”… and “the house doesn’t win every hand.”
When asked if he regrets saying “I am the house now,” Scott Bessent admitted that the house doesn’t win every hand.
Just One Tokyo fund (Sumitomo Mitsui DS) broke the French Bond Market by liquidating their bond holdings to ZERO.
Japan will need to set aside roughly ¥100 billion ($630 million) per day just to cover interest and debt redemptions next fiscal year.
Japan’s debt servicing bill only suggests that BoJ liquidating their U.S. Treasury holdings is very close.
If Japan’s @yutokanzakireal warning indeed happens, we are going to see the biggest global financial bloodbath in decades.

Elon Musk explains why charging your EV to 100% on a road trip is a mistake:
On a road trip, your instinct is to fill the battery all the way up.
That's how you'd treat a gas tank.
But a battery doesn't work like a gas tank.
Charge to about 80%. Drive it down to 10% or less. Repeat.
This is just for long trips, when you want to spend as little time at the charger as possible.
Elon: "Getting from 80 to 100, it takes about as much time as getting from 0 to 80."
The reason is what's happening inside the battery.
Lithium ions travel from one side to the other, looking for a place to settle.
Think of them as cars hunting for a parking spot.
When the lot is empty, they zip right in.
As it fills up, they have to circle around, like at a packed mall.
So the closer the battery gets to full, the slower it charges.
The last few spots take the longest to find.

Quick Question:-
People say India is more FREE than China is
Having lived for 68 years in India I know
I. Courts don't offer equitable justice to all citizens
II. Police, Officials and Politicians abuse their power massively
III. Any Indian can be jailed for 7 days without being presented before a magistrate
IV. Any Indian can be interrogated outside the presence of his lawyer by the police
V. Properties can be encroached by thugs without the slightest recourse barring an expensive settlement or a long drawn court battle
VI. Citizens can be forced to wait for 20 minutes, 30 minutes even 45 minutes for convoys of ministers to pass through
VII. The Average time to prove ones innocence is 6 1/4 years
VIII. The Average time to establish ones guilt is a single FIR registered in 20 minutes
IX. Bail is decided based on wealth of the accused rather than the weight of the case. A Theft accused could spend 15 months without bail and a rape accused could walk out in 3 months with bail
X. Corrupt Politicians & Officials are so frequent that people now regard Honest Politicians & Officials as fools

Spot on!
The greatest arrogance of some Westerners is assuming they are the arbiters of truth while treating Chinese people as victims incapable of independent thought.
When Chinese people express views that align with their own, those views are considered rational. But the moment Chinese people disagree, they are labeled brainwashed or manipulated.
This is not respect for facts. It is a refusal to acknowledge that Chinese people are capable of independent judgment.
What truly makes them uncomfortable may not be that Chinese people cannot see the outside world, but that they have seen it and still refuse to accept their narrative.
They are free to disagree with Chinese people, but they cannot champion freedom of thought while denying Chinese people the right to think independently.

Reflecting on these stereotypical comments, I cannot help but observe that on platforms like X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and 4chan, the Chinese approach international politics and foreign internet discourse from a distinctly top-down, condescending posture.
Many believe that because the CCP built the Great Firewall to restrict unfettered access to the global internet, foreigners harbor two major stereotypes about the Chinese: that they are brainwashed by the CCP, and that their access to information is severely insulated. Consequently, there is a subconscious assumption that Chinese people are ignorant, and that anything they say is merely party-line propaganda.
The reality, however, is quite the opposite. China boasts a comprehensive and rigorous educational system designed specifically to sharpen students' intellect and build an extensive knowledge base. Students produced by this system possess a level of cognitive depth that far outstrips their foreign peers—no other nation invests in student development to such an extreme degree.
Of course, China is by no means a flawless paradise. The price students pay for this intellectual advantage is an endless commitment of time to academic pursuits. For many, life consists almost entirely of acquiring knowledge and sitting for exams. To the international community, Chinese students often appear reserved, quiet, lacking hobbies or leisure pursuits, socially awkward, and inclined toward solitude. After all, when so much time and energy are channeled into academic excellence, social skills, personal hobbies, grooming, and self-expression naturally take a backseat. When top academic achievers—who often happen to be the least socially adept—go abroad to study, it inadvertently reinforces these foreign stereotypes even further.
From a Chinese perspective, everything comes with a price, and freedom is no exception. In this case, the price of digital freedom is a mere $2 to $3 a month. Those willing to pay it tend to be highly educated young Chinese. Their grasp of international politics, economics, military affairs, commerce, and cultural nuances is light-years ahead of their global peers—and even ahead of many self-styled experts and scholars.
When these young Chinese scale the Firewall, they are astonished by what they find: the outside world is far less idyllic than China, and many foreigners strike them as shockingly foolish—intensely arrogant, conceited, detached from reality, and deeply delusional. It is hard to imagine how someone so arrogant, conceited, and living in fantasy would manage to survive in China. They come to a striking realization: what the CCP was trying to keep out was a world that is filthy, dilapidated, decaying, yet hopelessly full of itself.
As a result, young Chinese—especially those who regularly use VPNs—have developed a profound sense of superiority rooted in their vastly superior lifestyle and cognitive awareness. They have discovered a rather amusing pastime: leaving fiercely sarcastic and delightfully wicked comments under posts that attempt to demean, slander, or mock China, deriving great entertainment from it. Meanwhile, many abroad misinterpret them as mind-controlled propaganda machines operated by the CCP. Thus, the mutual misunderstanding and mockery only deepen.
The whole dynamic is utterly mind-boggling. Hahaha.
