Why most of #AI discussions are now using #SI ? Given humanity as a Civilisation who are just below 1 in Kardashev scale , no one is calling us Stellar Civilisation based on the potential we reach that level some point in time. Then why SI for this current state of LLMs ?

I have no idea how some devs runs 100s of agents and keep track of thw work as they showcase in their screenshots. How they even verify what a particular agent did ? May be i’m too old for this 👴#agents #vibe

My own spin of #zeddotdev editor the way I want with my own feature I want when I work with Agents 😎😎

Kids these days use grill that, grill this with AI and grilling skills, but they never check if the AI grilled the right meat. 🥩 #AIRant #vibecode #software

Software Engineering is a discipline that stands out to be a very good example for “Albert Einstein”’s Insanity definition. Engineering Teams repeatedly try same engineering processes others have proven to fail and expect different outcomes. #ThoughtOfTheDay

Opus 5.5 is the best model so far @AnthropicAI made. Got lot work done yesterday without running out of 5hr limit and with less start from scratch due to agent being sloppy. Well done after all @claudeai team

we’re thinking of killing plan mode and using the shift+tab hotkey to adjust effort levels I don’t think the models need plan mode anymore, but if you’re a plan mode diehard would love to get your feedback on why

Replying to @zeddotdev
@zeddotdev is my go to IDE/Editor now, tried many times to switch but I always ended back in it. It is addiction 😍

But there are few things I need my way, I'm pretty sure they are not good fit for the product, So I started hacking on my own fork to add what please me in my development flow. 🏗️

🤖 The codebase is designed very well, it has been very easy and efficient to get agents to add what I want with tests to verify the functionality. @zeddotdev and community has done a great job on building a great product and great codebase.

Hi @zeddotdev team, the Delta editor is a different beast. And I have to say it is what we really need in this agentic development era. I'm still exploring, but what I experienced so far is really good. 📣👏 🧵

One feedback is, it would be really nice if mandatory signing and server side data upload can be avoided. Simply support the this threaded agentic experience fully locally so that we can benefit some of this experience when working with projects that cannot be shared.

May be Anthropic and OpenAI first try to lead by example regardless others follow them or not
I agree with Dario that we need to pace the frontier. This has been a primary topic of discussions we've had at OpenAI in recent weeks. Committing to having independent evaluators with employee-like access is a great idea, and we will do the same. We'll have more to share soon.

Do they have more options under their sleeves if this doesn’t workout?
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training. Agent protocol base Editor integrations may not survive. Generalizing multiple agents into a single protocol while maintaining full functionality via a universal UI is an immense challenge. 🧵#vibecoding #AIAssisted #AI

The future might be Agent Apps next to Editors, with universal integration for sending review comments vice versa. Similar to #hunk diff viewer. A symbiotic future for Agents and Editors.

I started use AI Agents desktop apps recently to get a feel of them. When it comes to my personal usage, my favorite so far is @opencode desktop. It supports all MacOS window controls so I can have proper Split View with @zeddotdev as my editor. The UI is clean and responsive.

You can now set Claude Code's output style to Concise. Claude leads with the result, keeps responses short, and still gives full detail when you ask. Turn it on in /config → Output style, or set "outputStyle": "Concise" in settings.json.

The reason for not having those talks is because AI generates all code you need for your feature. The main reason those talks were there in the first place was because of developer experience mainly.
Are we ever going to get back to talking about languages, frameworks, libraries, and packages? AI sucked all the oxygen out of the room
