The world is reeling in shock today after @fedcourtau ruling against @salltweets in favour of Tess Tickle. But the court ruling was based on a highly defective law. As gutted as we all are, this is far better than the court perversely twisting the law like @SCC_eng does.

Supporters of Alberta independence should sign the petition as soon as possible. A court injunction requested by the First Nations may be issued on April 7 that could halt the collection of signatures.
It is therefore essential that the required 177,000 signatures be gathered before that date.

We are in the middle of budget season here in Toronto and we continue to ask Prime Minister @MarkJCarney and Minister @gary_srp to stop wasting taxpayer dollars on the gun buyback program and send even a portion of these funds to @MayorOliviaChow and Chief @TPSMyronDemkiw.
Clearly, the program is ineffective, and the Minister knows what other public safety and community wellbeing initiatives could be achieved with this funding. It’s time to do the right thing.
