Michael Clayton goes too damn hard to have a title so boring.
What great movie has a genuinely terrible title?

My go-to "old" movie to show people is Dog Day Afternoon. Deals with contemporary issues (police, media, and LGBTQ+) in a decidedly modern way. A drama with a great sense of humor - super watchable. Plenty to learn in its blocking, writing, and acting.

Zack Snyder says he is pro-gay and that ‘300’ is “one of the gayest movies ever made.” “I always go, 'Look, there are few movies where people come in straight and come out gay, and 300 is one of them.'” (Source: variety.com/2026/film/featur…)

How Film Twitter users feel when they dislike a popular film:
Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022): not a film you hear people talking about much anymore. yet, for a brief and beautiful while, expressing public dislike for this picture would have you painted as some sort of grouch or villain, roughly equivalent to Hitler.

Salma Hayek is literally 60 years old. Anyone who would take her down is sick.

Here are 4 shots. The first 2 use center-framing, the last 2 don't (though the very last 1 is still using one-point perspective). All are composed and lensed deliberately to evoke a particular feeling - all are visually interesting.

There are a lot of great movies for children, but I was beside myself the first time I watched Paddington. I couldn't believe just how good it was, or that the sequel would turn out to be an outright masterpiece.
Name a kids movie has no right to be as good as it is?
