> That's a full blown CI/CD pipeline with publishing a package to 3 different places, based on different conditions, etc.
Which is exactly what FAKE solves. It was never about replacing call to msbuild.
You could do `msbuild.exe my_solution_.sln` in old world too…

Working with Fake.Sql.DacPac I found an issue which I solved in last @fsharpMake release. Thanks to that I speed up my DB deployments by 47.7%! 🎆 More details here thecodemanual.pl/2019/12/23/…

You can. Look at @fsharpMake - that's what we use for many of our builds. You still need a bit of YAML if you want to use devops task, but for the majority of builds you can just do it all with FAKE.

One of the coolest thing in @IonideProject 4.0 is improved @fsharpMake integration contributed by @matthi__d.
It includes FAKE Target outline listing all targets in your build script and adding ability to run and debug chosen target.

Is there anyone interested in helping with the dependency visualisation? I can provide all the data and algorithms but can someone make it look awesome? I have some ideas regarding functionality ;)

You probably all know that, but with every project I port I’m mind blown time after time - life with .Net Core, dotnet CLI, FAKE 5, and Paket is just sooo good. We should leave old world behind and burn all bridges. #fsharp

Es ist viel modularer und man muss nicht mehr die gesamte lib referenzieren. Außerdem dotnet core. Kein mono mehr..
