Jisun on the objectification she faced as an idol: "The comments left for me were things like 'she's pretty', 'how's her body shape', or 'I wish Roh Jisun was my girlfriend'. Oh, that's right. Thinking, 'who would date someone like that?', 'I could hook up with her if I do it right'. 'I'm jealous of her boyfriend'. It was always that she was pretty, or that her body shape was good, I hated being consumed like that. I really wanted people to be curious about my work and my stage, and to say it was cool. But to really be honest, whenever I performed somewhere, they would zoom in on my chest and upload a slow-motion video. When things like that happened, the focus stayed primarily on my external appearance."

Jisun on her silence during the situation: "If you ask for my honest opinion, the fault really lies with the bad people. No matter what I say, articles kept coming out connecting me with the other contestants from the show. That only caused more harm, which is why I couldn't say anything much. It's a really awkward and tricky situation."

Jisun on the Idol School's vote rigging scandal: "I reached 1st place on Idol School, but not even a year and a half into our activities, the manipulation controversy broke out. At that time, I really thought I had worked hard to get 1st place but that wasn't the case. I always have this need to do things honorably but the position I was in was not honorable... it wasn't honorable to myself. And when they said there was some rigging and interference involved, I was about 22 at the time, and I was just so confused."

Jisun revealed that she used to work part-time during periods where fromis_9 had no activities: “Around that time, when I didn’t have any activities, I went to work at a dermatology clinic and did a part-time job. But it’s not like I was facing people as a consultation manager or anything. It was more of an internal/administrative role.”
