Gumayusi: “Happiness isn’t found in a place, everyone...” Gumayusi: “Happiness is found within yourself.” 💛

Gumayusi and his faith 🥺💛 “That kind of confidence [he had] did not always lead to smooth results. Last year, with the competition for the starting position overlapped with a slump, he was subjected to intense/harsh criticism and cyberattacks. Even baseless suspicions/allegations surrounding his faith were raised. As he went through that period, the faith he had inherited from his parents gradually became ‘his own faith.’” Gumayusi: “Looking back, there were moments when tears flowed without me even realizing it while singing hymns, [there were] experiences of overcoming difficult times through prayer and moments when I gave glory to God after winning. I feel like those experiences of grace built up and they all came together [or like reached completion] this year.” The words often shared with his family were, “God has a plan for everything.” Gumayusi: “Looking back on my life as a pro gamer, there have been many difficult moments, but I’m grateful that those experiences [or everything I went through] have shaped me into who I am today.”
