Turned she’s had a tough life. In and out of foster homes, a rotten marriage but her pride and joy were her 3 boys. She listened as I talked about how ill my Mum was. When she got off at Stratford she thanked and hugged me. A tiresome journey turned out to be a very lovely one 🥰

…I asked if she was ok. She’d spent weekend with her BF - something they rarely managed due to cost of travel - and was heading home to her three boys. She didn’t have any cash so I paid her cab fare and bought her a coffee and a Twix….we sat together and started chatting

Inspired by heart warming post by @Emily_Benn Here’s my train story…arrived at Woodbridge station to find train cancelled. Suggested to four other stranded women that we share a cab to Ipswich to catch connection. The younger one who sat next to me was very tearful so….

I’m sick to the back teeth of @greateranglia and their never ending engineering works. 4 hour + journey to visit my dying mother. This has gone on for over 20 years. It’s a fucking joke.
