@925screenings “a man has to be wot he is—can’t break the mould”. (going to the movies keeps our inner brandon dewilde alive). #shane

@925screenings although resolution unsatisfactory, tone of the movie excellent. with one exception no one in the cast looks like a star. it looks like life, not hollywood. recommend. #maigretandthedeadlover

@925screenings meanwhile, in 2026… #doonesbury

@925screenings somehow everything is about the movies, or used to be.

@925screenings performances of de gaulle & churchill excellent.

@MarkAllenGolf slow play, like golf fashion, is a crime that’s been around for some time.

well done, #iceland.

@925screenings #funnypages

@925screenings in-jokes abounding. bette davis in “the star” making fun of joan crawford in “the women”, right down to the hairstyle. youtu.be/aqiOPrV2sZk?si=HCKx…

@925screenings saw #hisgirlfriday at cinema. russell stalking past journalists’ desks to editor’s office one of movies’ great tracking shots. whole things radiates fun and energy. has any other director given audience so much enjoyment?
