A multi-university study (Penn State, Purdue, Ohio State, Michigan State, UMass, and VT) investigating the effect of dew removal via autonomous mowing on dollar spot is demonstrating promising results for fungicide budgeting. I believe these photos speak for themselves!

Friendly reminder: Robot mowers can cut grass autonomously. And even update their own software.
However, they do NOT clean or maintain their own hardware.
5 minutes w/ the right tools will protect your investment and improve operations all around.

A wee acknowledgement for the folk who maintain the pitch at Cowdenbeath Central. It always looks in fantastic condition, whether it's at the start of the season or the end. Well done to all involved 🫡

One of the best ways to stay ahead in the turf industry is to get out and see new technology in action.
Frost Inc. is headed to Field Day’s to demonstrate the ASTRO—our autonomous robotic sprayer designed for turf applications. 🤖🌱

Technology is moving quickly, and seeing equipment operate firsthand can make all the difference when evaluating what's worth bringing to your course or operation.
If you have the opportunity to attend a field day, demo, or educational event in your area, take advantage of it! You never know what new idea, technology, or conversation might change the way you work.

Every now and then something comes along that genuinely makes you stop and think... This could change things.
This was one of those days.
The new Kress Mega 600 autonomous mower is seriously impressive - and you can see exactly where it fits in the future of turf management.

So Hammer doing a great job on fairways with the rough tees as well, despite this blooming cold dry spring we experiencing & not forgetting lack of rainfall 🤷🏼♂️ also with our last diesel delivery being £400 more than the last delivery that makes it a no brainer @Kress_UK
Update to the @kress_uk 236E is now capable of block cutting the pitch at Venters - delivering visual stripping comparable to a traditional mover. Game changer for maintenance approach. With the ability to cut the pitch 5 times a week, the turf quality has improved significantly
While also reducing both operational costs and time demands. Crucially, it's freed up the Volunteers to focus on essential tasks like divoting the pitch with the ForthRoots Grounds Forks work that directly impacts the pitch's performance and health.

@forthroots_ seeding tines working superbly creating plenty of holes at an ideal depth followed by the @sportsmetals brush attachment on the Toro Procore getting that seed into the holes. Dragmat to finish off 👌
Excellent over-seeding results from our customers again this year!
If you haven't tried our Conical Seeding Tines, why not get in touch and see the value of quality seed placement. Results speak for themselves 💪
