Really excited to present this work led by @nhunguyen2811 at @IMBatUQ in collaboration with @sumaira_hasnain Glen Ulett and Jana Vukovic.
Researchers at @IMBatUQ have discovered why some E. coli bacteria cause severe disease and others don't.
@LabSchembri says a mutation helps affected bacteria spread in the body, a finding that could help fight antibiotic resistance.

TDP-43-mediated neurodegeneration is complex. We show that prior to disease onset in a mouse model of ALS/FTD, cortex neurons elicit a transient increase in protective chaperones that combat TDP-43 aggregation. Read it @NatureComms:

Hi @WishartLab we really want to run phastest locally. The database FASTA downloaded successfully (<1GB), however the docker image and bacterial database both stop at 1024MB. This suggests an issue like an improper setting for proxy_max_temp_file_size in NGINX. Can you fix?

Very excited to share our work on NMEC led by @nhunguyen2811 (under review by eLife). We highlight that even with appropriate antibiotic treatment, causative NMEC that resides intestinally might not be eliminated and can cause relapse.
