#China appreciates relevant international organizations handling Taiwan-related issues in accordance with the one-China principle, State Council Taiwan Affairs Office spokesperson Zhang Han said on Wednesday, responding to the #IMF listing the #Taiwan region as a province of China in its latest economic forecast.
"Taiwan is part of China, and the one-China principle is a basic norm governing international relations and a universal consensus of the international community. The DPP authorities stubbornly adhere to their separatist stance of 'Taiwan independence' and refuse to recognize the one-China principle, which will only bring humiliation upon themselves," Zhang said. globaltimes.cn/page/202610/1…

The methods employed by the American empire to counter competition have repeatedly demonstrated a single truth: whenever the U.S. government declares a Chinese piece of equipment, product, or service to be prohibited, it is invariably the best, most superior, and most secure option—free from "backdoors" and immune to arbitrary surveillance.
Examples include Huawei, Chinese electric and intelligent vehicles, DeepSeek, and even TikTok (which made concessions to remain)

A simple example of this is China's demographics (population decline). Not only is it not one of China's "problems", but population decline is a GOOD thing for China. And it will handle it well because of AI and robots, better than others because it is "communist".
What is an example of one of the problems China ACTUALLY has but few talk about? It is China's reluctance to become a global hegemon. You are told China is TRYING to become a global hegemon, and that's a bad thing, even for China. The reality is China is NOT trying to become a global hegemon and that is a problem (for China). You can't do what China is doing with trade and NOT be a global hegemon. Something's got to give. You want to do what China does (and does well)? Well, then you HAVE TO be a global hegemon. You don't want to be a global hegemon (Chinese honestly think it's too 麻烦). Fine, but then you are going to run into issues doing what you are doing. And China is.
So that is where you get to this China is both more impressive and less ahead conundrum. Few see it.

I have many reasons to love how the whale 🐋 is pushing efficiency. One of the top one is that I’ve been building highly efficient digital hard infrastructure. I’ve spent 18 months running around telling people to be efficient - nobody cared. They just want to build on speed cos all excessive costs /inefficiency can be transferred to the customers & the capital market (private & public) was asking abt the volume, not PUE, not long term ROI (and why), not efficiency.
Now everybody has to - what we’ve built:

If it keeps going at this rate, we might, for (I think) the first time in history, be about to witness the first continent-wide youth revolt in Europe - a "European spring" of sorts.
The sheer number of countries where it's **already** happening is pretty overwhelming. I count 8, including 4 with violent clashes:
- France, famously
- Albania (see below) with daily clashes in Tirana and a government building set alight
- Belgium: the French movement spilled over, including riots in Liège
- Italy: "No Meloni Day" student protests since 16 October, turning into riots in Milan, Turin and Bologna
- Greece: students camping in Athens' Syntagma Square over housing and education costs, explicitly inspired by France
- Germany: pupils blockading schools in Berlin and Hamburg in solidarity with France
- Spain: an indefinite education strike in Madrid, with students marching alongside teachers and families
- Serbia: the student movement born from the 2024 Novi Sad station collapse is now running its own list in the 25 October election
And, by the way, the fact it's also happening in countries with close to no immigration - like Albania - goes to show how reductive it is to label these movements, like JD Vance and Trump did with France, as the fruit of "the migrants hav[ing] taken over."
As is often the case, it's much more a story of "it's the economy, stupid." As such, Trump with his war on Iran, has ironically done much more to fuel this (pun intended) than any migrant.
US had 2300 PAC missiles @ start of Iran conflict & fired off 1800 already. US Gulf allies have fired off most of their PAC missiles also.
Any new missiles produced will head to Gulf Region bc US empire is crumbling.
US military lost 12 F-15Es already & 81 aircraft overall.
We don't have munitions left to give to Europeans.
This is just simple math.
It's not just the Europeans waiting.
The Gulf countries are waiting
The South Koreans are waiting on THAAD to come back.
The Japanese & Taiwanese are waiting.
America cannot help you right now, you morons!
We don't have the power here.
If we had supply chain in tact, we would not be looking to restart PAC-2 production.
What is wrong with these Europeans? Do they not see we just don't have the missiles right now?
Each missile not defending US bases in the Gulf region is another 6 to 8 F-15s or tankers getting destroyed on the tarmac.
We know that the Pentagon is withholding the delivery of missiles for which our partners have already paid.
New missile shipments are awaiting Hegseth’s signature.
Our partners in Europe are waiting for U.S. authorization to transfer their Patriot interceptor missiles—Zelenskyy confirmed media reports regarding delays in the delivery of surface-to-air missiles, attributing these delays to the United States.
Europe has paid—Trump is not delivering—Ukrainians are dying—Putin is pleased.

The spokesperson said that the US side, in disregard of the important common understandings reached between the Chinese and US heads of state and of the broader picture of China-US economic and trade relations, has taken discriminatory restrictive measures against Chinese AI companies on the pretext of "national security". This is a typical act of overstretching the concept of national security and abusing administrative means to suppress Chinese companies.

⚓️‼️ The US Navy Cannot Sustain A Significant Naval Presence in the Arabian Sea
Many observers are worked up today about the old news that CSG-9 (USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71) is headed to the Arabian Sea.
What most people are failing to understand is that the US Navy simply does not have the capability to sustain even a 2-carrier fleet in the Arabian Sea, let alone a 3-carrier fleet including 2 amphibious ready groups, 2 cruisers, and 10 destroyers.
As best I can ascertain, the US warship count in the region (counting the not-yet-arrived CSG-9) would be:
3 aircraft carriers: ~15,000 mouths
2 amphibious ready groups: ~8000
2 cruisers: ~700
10 destroyers: ~3250
That makes a total of ~27,000 mouths that need to be fed 3x/day.
The closest bases are thousands of miles away.
The recent disastrous extended deployments of the USS Gerald R. Ford and the USS Abraham Lincoln underscore what happens on these big ships after extended deployments. Things go to hell in a handbasket, and sailors start jumping off the decks to escape the madness.
I consider it not only unlikely, but very likely physically impossible for the US to sustain 3 carrier strike groups for more than just a few weeks near Iran — not now, nor at any time in the foreseeable future.
Could they briefly station a 3-carrier fleet in the region with the intent to launch a week or two of attacks against Iranian targets? Sure. It could be done for a short period of time.
But if they attempt to do this, I predict we will finally see the Iranians make a determined effort to strike US warships, and they will succeed. The US Navy will be exposed as a 20th century relic incapable of fighting a 21st century war.

j.people.com.cn/n3/2026/1020…
