Interesting read; it just omits the underdogs of the pollinator world. Research on #flypollination still lags far behind studies on #bees, and the true impact of flies on agricultural systems goes unrecognised; this is where we’re helping out. Have no fear, #hoverflies are here!

Hello, we are THE HOVERFLIES, & we mean you no harm. Some call us "sweat bees," implying that we can sting. But it's all a ruse. We're flies! Really. No stingers here, promise! We are pollinators, crop-pest predators, & cuties to bootsies. Please, no squish. 📸: Alvesgaspar

Listening to @BBCGQT and they talk about making gardens good for bees and butterflies. Does no one want to admit that FLIES ARE MASSIVELY IMPORTANT POLLINATORS.
