During OA, multiple cell-cell interactions occur, many mediators being released that alter the contents of the synovial fluid.

Very saddened by the news of @arif_naveed's passing. His work has had a huge impact. Many scholars applied to Cambridge because of him. He will be very much missed.
Our deepest condolences to the family & friends of @arif_naveed who sadly passed away at the weekend. As the article by @PSutoris started: “I don’t want to imagine a world without him.” His optimism & smile will especially be missed.

Because of annoying complications with the use of images prepared on BioRender @iamscicomm for publication or presentations, our lab will be exploring open-source alternatives like bioicons.com/ or drawing our own images with Illustrator.
